KIA Front Brake Service - 2012 KIA Ceed SW - Part 1

The pads were sticking onto the discs when the car had been sitting for a couple of days parked up.
This is the strip down and check on the front brake pads and slide pins.

I'll never complain about Irish cars again. The amount of rust due to the salt on the roads is crazy

Yeah, the salt certainly has a lot to answer for. I was thinking about trying some of the lanolin oil spray protection over the summer to see if that makes things look a bit better. It was still sub -zero temps here overnight, last week too!

Saves a lot of time getting the wheels off for sure too!

Tip for u use a blow torch and heat it up make it easier for u to get the sliding pins out hope this helps u
