As a Japanese person, I would like to tell foreigners. Japan has been an island nation since ancient times and has built a unique culture. Therefore, most Japanese people can only speak Japanese. There is almost no need to speak other languages. It is a great joy that social media has developed and the charm of Japan is reaching the world. It is also a great joy that many Japanese restaurants have been selected for the Michelin Guide. We are also very grateful that foreigners visit shrines, temples, and tourist spots that have been protected for many years. The problem is that there are many foreigners who behave in ways that Japanese people find disappointing. Of course, there are language barriers and ignorance of rules. However, in Japan, we don't throw trash everywhere, and we respect others in public places. I think that there are very few people who behave like this in countries other than Japan. I am grateful that more and more people are studying and respecting Japan. However, the fact that such problems are actually occurring means that there is definitely a cultural barrier. If more foreigners think that they can do whatever they want because they are tourists, Japanese people may start to dislike foreigners and refuse to accept them in the future. I don't want that to happen.
@@jjescorpiso21 Example: 0:22 この動画はお願いという形になります。 Completely literal translation: "The form of this video is called a request." Lose translation: "This video is a request." Subtitle: "This video is / Please / Say / It takes shape." I can't fathom how anyone can get the correct meaning when reading the English subtitle in this case. I gave up and read the Japanese subtitles instead, after seeing many instances of this. The problem is that they machine-translated each line of subtitles individually, even if the line is not a complete sentence. Because of this, the latter half of the video, which has more of a complete sentence in each line, is translated better. I only pointed this out because this is a serious message, and he mentioned near the end of the video that he really want this message to spread, especially to his foreign fans. Yet this bad translation doesn't work for that purpose.

大変ですね。
文字は読めても文は読めないし読まない人が多いですよね。

お客様の横柄な態度に長年苦しんでいると聞いて残念です。精神的にも肉体的にも健康でいてほしいです!将来、あなたを訪ねることができることを願っています。あなたのご努力に感謝します!
ありがとうございます🙇♀️
機械翻訳に出す文章は、一句まるごとにしてください。そうしないと正確な訳文を得ることはできません。この動画の前半の殆どの訳文は壊れています。
I think it is fine and expresses the intent better than direct and "proper" translation.
ご指摘ありがとうございます!🙇♀️🙇♀️
