Deadlines on my 89’ XJS are somewhat fluid. Depends on how much $$$ I want to pay my mechanic or do myself. Always best to do as much work as I can. After rebuilding the fuel injectors, distributor, chain tensioner (huge job) myself, the heater regulator in the rear of the engine bay started leaking on top of the transmission . I am convinced it will only ever be 90% at best no matter what gets repaired.
Would've loved to see the process step-by-step of taking everything apart.
7:04 Oh, lose vacuum lines can really haunt you. Even on a more modern car 💀💀
Great video. Looking to purchase an xjs so this was helpful.
Vortex garage, it would be helpful to XJS owners to list the harness wiring in the description for the injectors. Gracias!
You should only use Gates Multifuel Premium fuel hoses or Milspec viton 3 layer hoses from Dupont
