The reason I don't like Origin, is because their jeans are not 100% cotton, instead they are a mix of polyester and cotton which gives a low quality feel to the consumer.
You're right, and I did consider this before buying the jeans. But honestly, I don't mind that they aren't 100% cotton. They still are high quality, and it gives them a little stretch which makes them more comfortable. Also, they require less maintenance and care then 100% cotton. Just a little more practical for my lifestyle, but everyone's different.
When I first saw this guy, I thought the same exact thing. He then confirms my thoughts by mentioning Van Neistat quite often. Van is kinda like his idol I think, it shows.
Your videos remind me of Beu Miles, Casey, and Van Neistat. I love these guys, and your cinematography is legit for just starting out. Keep up the great, and stay creative! I love american made clothing. It's something americans should investigate more into and back up.
Origin!!! i use some of their stuff, they dont have womens jeans yet and im too small for the mens sizes but i love their company, ive been keeping tabs on them for a while now. they are pretty darn legit. so much of their stuff is all grown and made and processed in america. their shirts r so cozy. another company i found recently is Imogene+Willie. they have quite a variety of mens and womens pants so i was able to find some great jeans from them that fit me perfectly. and for wool stuff there is a company called Duckworth, they use merino sheeps from up in the Dakotas and make all the stuff in America. i got their wool-lined hooded jacket a couple years ago and i live in NH and that thin jacket has been perfect thru the winters here with some smart layering.
I do kind a same here in germany try to get durable work wear made in germany. at this Point i have Levi’s too but next time i Need new ones i want more durable ones.
You should look into the brands: Round House, Prison Blues, and Wild Ass. They all make Made in USA jeans and honestly, they aren't crazy expensive.

Yeah, I have noticed that they don't yet make women's apparel. Hopefully that'll change soon.
Nice. You and me both. I also buy vintage clothes. I'm trying to reduce my consumption in general.
i've been watching your channel for a while now, keep up the good work!
great info thank you!

Subbed yesterday with Van's suggestion. Have watched several of your videos. Like you content and style. Take care.
Nice jeans man, I didn't even know pockets with jean fabric inside of it exists. I'm jealous. 👍
