Day mate, its much improved now,, operated from outside ...to the side.....chain and crank horizintal adj....and i swing the blade from outside...beside the macnine. For safety and quicker... For the desigb of the swing head...check troopy saw mill....youtube....thats where i got my nessary details...and much head scratching... but ..there it is....cheers.mate
yea i was just learning video then, i will do an update on this mill when i get back to Aust, Its much improved now , all operation is done from outside the ..RAILS...for safety. cheers

He should be cutting so the blade is not climbing into the wood. It should be cut like the first cut on the left side and then back on the right. No matter whether in the horizontal or vertical position, best not to climb cut.
Why have a swing saw if you don't swing it ?

Wally hope read the comments, man you need an adjustable spreader in the middle of your those log bunks 😱 or some kind of bracing.

What size blade are you running? And what speed?
Hi the gearbox is a 1 To 1 ratio and the blade is the same as used on a LUCAS mill only 4 teeth Cheers sorry about the late reply , Cheers

he just needs to get rid of the floppy guard i would use it even so called store bought mills are saws man not fer the faint of heart
