(React to both in Telugu and Hindi versions because the songs are sung by different singers, by Amitabh Bachchan, that beard old man himself in Hindi one) I watched Kalki on the 1st day, 2nd show with my 2 friends in 3D!! And I can only say that it's an epic blockbuster!! ❤🔥🤩 Specially 2nd half of the movie is totally a bang! 💥🔥😍 It has also been released in IMAX! Watch Kalki in a theatre near you... The Telugu version of the trailer is the best because that is the original language of this movie, and the song sung along with the visuals are hauntingly beautiful.

Best movie of the year. Also the earliest teaser titled: "Kalki 2898 AD Glimpse" is worth watching. This movie is so packed with worldbuilding it's difficult to capture the scope of it in trailers tbh
Hope this helps in understanding. from India. It draws from the events at the end of the epic Mahabharata and the Mahabharata war in which the previous Avatar of Vishnu or Krishna is present as the charioteer and projects it to the next or 10th and final Avatar of Vishnu that is Kalki and to the imagined events of his birth at the end of Kali Yuga or the Age of Darkness. As per ancient Indian scriptures Kaliyuga starts with death of Krishna and ends with Kalki who destroys darkness and restores balance to the world and creation. Comparing it with anything else except a few stylisations is missing the point. If you really want to get the context read a little into at least the Mahabharata and the concept of yuga though at most places you will find wrong idea of timelines. The Character of Aswathhama (old man) played by Amitabh Bachhan is a character of Mahabharata who was cursed with immortality for his crime of killing unborn children in the mothers womb. Yes in Hindu tradition immortality is a curse as it prevents you from renewing yourself. Aswathhama lives through 6000 yrs to protect the unborn child that is destined to be the 10th Avatar Kalki and be released of his curse of immortality and bringing his Karma full circle. Madhava is another name for Avatar Krishna. If there is anything else you want to know of the scriptural or historical/ Puranic context pl do ask. Yes Mahabharata and Puranas are part of history in the Dharmic tradition and most Indians believe this to be true in parts if at times not whole owing to distortions of time.

He is a Indian movie legend working as an actor for more than 50 years. Considered to be one of the all time great actors of the world. He was 81 years old when he shot all the actions sequences for this movie, without using a dummy or stund duplicate.

@@Lunarhodesavengers I watched in Hindi version because I don't understand Telugu (Everyone gave their own voices for the Hindi version). Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone both belong to the Hindi region and delivered their dialogues in Hindi too while shooting!
@@shubhamdutta1467 the main character speaks Telugu and it’s a Telugu industry film 🤦. For people who don’t understand either language, we are watching the Telugu. So it’s not a dub. No Prabhas did not speak Hindi
@@wa-bu3ke FYI, the film was not 100% dubbed in Hindi, go and google it.... It was shot both in Telugu and Hindi. We watched in Hindi and many dialogues they delivered in Hindi while shooting (cz those were reshot in Hindi too), not dubbed actually!! Prabhas also gave his own voice for Hindi.
