Really nice project and video. Can you tell me at what length to you put the 'stop block' on the miter saw. It looks like 2 3/8 inches. Am I close to being correct? Thanks again.
I have followed all of the steps in the video but I can't get the pairs to match up. Length is 2 3/8" on the short side and 4" on the long side. The pieces seem to be too long. Thoughts?
I was having the same problem but then watched the video again. The crucial part is that the hypotenuse (angular side) has to be the same length as the short side. I ripped my stock down to 1.5" wide then I made both the hypotenuse and short side 1.75 inches. I hope this helps you!
Great project. Now I have an idea for Christmas presents......
Might try and go overboard and make a picnic table for my friends family one day
brilliant video I just made one of these now as a table top first wooden art atemt for me and over 400 pieces thanks for the inspiration
Thanks. Good Work and music.
Thank you for making this video - inspired to work a project such as this!
I would use it as a charcuterie board or maybe a cutting board.
What are the measurements for the pieces?

you are correct but the key is to match red and blue line in 56 seconds video mark. you should cut few pieces to test first . thanks for watching.
Could I cut the wood to only 1 inch
Great job and I love the soundtrack! Is that Jim Brickman? I know I’ve heard that before...
