Hi Xaryu, been watching like 6h of you pvping with Mitch on Twitch vods. It's super entertaining and educational.
I wanted to ask you one thing, though. There are lots of pvp guides out there but there is literally no guide at all that talks about other classes, counterplay, key abilities etc etc.
Could you make a video talking about how to play against other classes/specs? I'm a new player and it's hard already to learn my class, let alone every other class. Love your content
I'm sorry bro, but there are definitely tons of videos and guides on this topic.
If you want a very professional setup for these types of guides, check out the Skill Capped WoW Guides UA-cam channel which specializes in PVP guides. But to say you can't find these anywhere is disingenuous.
@@semi6544 I checked out these videos but they're simply general advice. Even the specific mage pvp guide talks 100% about mage abilities and talents and says nothing about what you can or can't do in actual pvp against other classes.
I have found no guide on what abilities can be interrupted or stolen or abilities that have to be blocked or you take a lot of damage/die.
@@andreistanciu4359 you can purge/steal all abilities that have a golden ring around them on the target frames.(basically every magical buff) You can kick every spell basically, if they dont have a buff up that prevents counterspell like mw monks, lock wall, r shaman, holy pala. Than you need to purge first and counterspell after. (Not easy) Some abilities are way more important to stop and the timing is also important. Its very situational thats why you will never see a guide that says, "always cs this ability". Sometimes you cs healer to score kills, sometimes you cs dps to peel for your team. Mage is a hard class to master in pvp, you will need to practice a lot until you will feel good about playing it.

A buff for fire mages would be if you can cast g.py and store that cast time so if you cast it for 3 seconds and move, for 15 seconds the next g.py will be cast in 1 second
nova + db + ring is such a powerful combo and of top of that you still have 2x poly and hoj, damn :D

How can u guys press 7 8 etc. ? A finger cant be that long ??? or do u use double click on mouse to move ?
I don't have problems to reach them, but I have tend to accidentally press the wrong button if I put keybinds that far. Might hit 7 instead of 8 easily from my experience for example some games like Sniper Elite or others where you have weapons are number keys. I put my keybínds to the left of 6, Y, H and B and use modifiers.
@@ManWithoutThePants I dunno u can press them but u have to keep ur eye on the screen and sometimes u need to react fast. I asked because of that.
@@oguzsevim5429 Yes, that's why I have limited my keybinds to not go that far. They start to feel uncomfortable even though I can reach them fairly well.

Its the best choice in that talent row for PvP bc its the only one that doesnt give you random AoE dmg that could break your CC
He has explained this before. Basically the Living Bomb talent row sucks and Living Bomb is the only good option to take. You only use it situationally like to keep a rogue in combat, etc.
