He's so beautiful! He seems like such a smart boy. I can tell that he's definitely figuring things out pretty quick. He's going to make such an amazing riding horse.
The head, shoulders, knees and toes was adorable! He seems reactive but very intelligent. You can tell as it clicks for him and he processes, he really gets it. I love that you can see when he logs it in his mind as a good memory to learn from. He'll come on leaps and bounds in the next couple of weeks and I'm really excited to watch you two!
He’s such a beauty. You look so amazing with all the horses. How do you trailer them if you have like a 16 hour ride? Also I love the name Aztec for him.
He's beautiful! And so expressive with his snorts! It's hard to believe he is a mustang as I don't see scars or scratches they usually have. He's going to be a nice one!
6 yrs is a long time to be a stallion, if he was a " batchelor ", he has probably been chased off, bullied and generally living his life always in defensive mode.
Isn’t that sad. That 6 years is a long time to be a stallion. I wish there was a better solution to what the government deems appropriate for wild horses. Trapping thousands at a time, separating, and selling ( mist of which end up in slaughter after that time limit lifts) heart breaking.
@@jnicole3926 better to trap castrate and find good homes than face starvation, disease and being killed but predators. Especially if the stallion is NOT the herd leader. In Northern California, we have a population of wild horses. Some are born wild, others " escape from the ranch...literally ". And sorry, I've been up all night with a sick dog.. apologies for the miss spelling!:)
He looks dominant, like Rue. Seems really challenging like she was (Roulette) but also Thank you for these. Its helping a lot. I'm being mentored by a really good msutang trainer, but seeing the variety in people's training is setting me up for success and you and Sam are the biggest help for me right now. I dont know any horse people and am starting on my own basically 😂
Check out Think Like a Horse he's been on UA-cam over 10 yrs and has some really great videos on pressure and release check back to some if his older videos lots of great stuff. He's teaching style is very similar to Camille.
Hey! It’s Claire from the TIP challenge. I just wanted to tell you thanks for being so nice and taking pictures with me. You did great with all of your mustangs.
OMG this guy is a natural for dressage. You did great with him today Camille, he's going to be a challenge but so worth it with what I could see today. Looking forward to watching this guy 's journey, put a huge smile on my face. Really good video!
Wow...what a Boy, i Love his Confirmation he looks very much like his Andalusian Ancestors, straight Legs, big Hoofs and build uphill....very nice pick....👍👍👍👍Take Care Dagmar
Wow! I just found your channel. PraiseGod! Your such an amazing kind trainer. It breaks my heart to think of all the horses that are broke thru violent trainers. He is one beautiful horse and I’m excited to watch his transformation. PeaceAndLove Lori
1st time watcher. Your very patient, interesting. Loved how detailed your explanations are. Wish you had a better mick, so you could be heard better. Found, Saw you at the auctions. Very interesting. Will continue to watch your channel. Good luck and god bless you with your training of this beautiful horse.❤
Watching with great interest as this guy has a skittish nature the same as my new project two year old colt (Australian brumby). He is even has a similar colour and height.
This mustang is just like my mustang Onyx. I adopted Onyx in marcg and he is also from eagle. He is seven and was caught when 5. He is pretty reactive and at first got spooked by everything.
I discovered your youtube channel and i am always happy to see your videos. You explain everything very good and are a great trainer. I really learn from your videos. I train irish cobs, sometimes i get them "wild" from ireland. They are not as wild als you mustangs offcourse I have a 10yo irish cob mare at the moment that didn't knew anything besides a halter. She was only used as a brood mare and just left in the field to handle things on her own. And i am pretty sure they didn't put the halter on the gentle way.... As i watch this video, i see a lot of similarities with this gelding and our irish cob mare. Although she is getting there, i can get her out of the field, lead her, brush her and lift her feet up without problem. I am very curious to see your journey with this gelding and hope to learn more as a trainer from it so i can train our horses even better. Thanks for uploading these video's. some suggestions for gelding names: Jack, Cooper, Flynn, Elvis, Bradley, Diego, Bob, Jimmy,...
love 2 watch both u n sam.love those horses.what a studly guy u have.now thats the american mustang.he looks lke the mustag in 500 miles.it might b him 2beautiful
Can someone tell me why her horse cut his foot open day by day volgs horse cut his foot open and at my local barn one of the horses just cut his foot open.... 👀 wt - heck
He maybe skittish but he is curious and clever and he has become really brave in such a short time. Maybe Warrior would be the name for him? He honk grunts I wonder what stage he will grow out of it. If he doesn't his nickname could be honky Tonk 😁
I don’t know... maybe his name is Snort...? (One of my past horses had a paddock neighbor named Snort...a gorgeous dapple grey Arabian...he was such a character, and an incredible mover! ) I do like this new Mustang, Camille- it will be interesting to see his top line develop....make a pretty picture with that long neck and deep shoulder
I really hope these horses make it to good homes after training. Thats the only thing that I wish I could change here. For you to keep until you can sell to good homes instead of giving back to gov to sell to questionable homes.
Hey Camille! I need your help. I absolutely love horses and have ridden for as long as I can remember. I love what you do. I really want to be a trainer as well when I am older, the only problem is I don't know how. I have been looking at some schools but I can't find one that I agree with. How did you do it Camille?
There are no schools teaching horsemanship and horse training. You need to find a person who is good at it and willintg to teach you. A ton of horse trainers come form horsey families, where they picked it up from a parent or uncle or something. If you don't have that and don't have a TON of money to learn it via paid lessons, you need to go the apprentice road. Which is quite hard and you need to make sure beforehand that you actually get taught something in return for your hard work. Plus, you have to take into account that making horse training your livelyhood, financially depending on clients to pay you is not that rosy either. Unless you are really high end and you can be picky which clients you take and which you don't, actually the humans attached to those horses can be really annoying. And even if you go the horse trainer route, you need a plan B job qualification because a, working with horses has it's dangers, you can get hurt to an extent that you can no longer ride well or you are so fed up with long hours of hard work, little pay and being treated badly by customers. You have to be realistic about the job or you have no chance at all.
with your experience do you ever think i'd be able to find a mustang big enough for me? I'm 6ft 1in, I'd love to get one down the road but most are just so small. Love watching you work! Lots of cool tips and tricks :)
He looks and acts like he has some Thoroughbred in him...I wonder if that is a genetic possibility where-ever he is from?...perhaps an escapee joined the wild horses....really elegant looking...
Sensitive guy. nice tho. Funny you want to chase him out of his safe spot. Mia Lykke Nielsen always lets them have a safe spot. mmm. I have to watch this video again
So what type of training do you do? I never worked with a wild horse, nor use pressure like this. My main training is dogs so this is a bit foreign to me. I definitely see him learning and growing with you which is really beautiful. To learn this I would also like to learn what the style is and what type of training this is so that I can learn myself before I even think about touching an animal. Kinda like learning how to load a clicker or use a clicker before ever touching a dog. I would like to learn more about the style of training. Please don't take this as a challenge. It just me trying to learn.
Curious where you learned your techniques? I have had horses most of my life and so wish I had learned natural horsemanship sooner there were so many horses and ponies I could have done so much better with.
You mention the stepping towards you initially as curiosity which you rewarded by stepping back but to me this looks like threat and aggression. Please explain
Does anyone know the cause for the gut noises when he trots? I had never heard a horse do that until I got my gelding last summer and he does it when trotting, cantering, riding, etc. Always wondered what causes it
i bet he was definitely a submissive bachelor stallion out in the wild seeing how he acts! he's very beautiful though, especially with his slight roman nose. i like his high steppy/bouncy trot haha, his canter is beautiful too. this boy has a lot of potential!
He’s going to be even prettier when he’s filled out! I love his neck and how it connects to his big shoulders. So handsome!
Hi
❤️ love all the mustangs coming through that we are lucky enough to see
He's so beautiful! He seems like such a smart boy. I can tell that he's definitely figuring things out pretty quick. He's going to make such an amazing riding horse.
So glad I found your channel. I love that you show all of your training. That you don’t cut out anything. Love watching these beautiful mustangs

It's funny, I like watching the reactive mustangs more just because it is interesting, but I know I would prefer the super calm ones.
Same! I also like seeing how the technique shifts around when dealing with skittish horses versus calmer ones.
You have a real good eye for a nice horse. Looks like standard or thorough bred blood. Whatever he is nice.
I know he wasn't your 1st pick..but he's gorgeous! Fyi I'm pretty positive he liked your singing! 🐎🎶🎵

Wow he's built so nice! Love how uphill his movement is. This is a gem for sure
Hi baby how are you
I like how you give your viewers completely raw footage
I love that your approach is always very gentle, & never forceful or harsh in anyway. Learning a whole lot from your videos. Thank you!!
Oh my goodness he is beautiful 😍
I tell you what he got that whoa down perfectly, lol.
I'd call him Snort 😂 or Snorty, or something like that. It's funny how much he snorted during these sessions
❤💋💋💋💋❤
He is gorgeous! And looks like will be a sweetheart too. Great work, he's a gem♥️
Hi boss how are you fine beautiful Boss

This particular HMA is known for being more defensive and reactive than other mustangs

I love watching you and others gentling them. Its amazing to see how much training is changing.
I love how you put the whole training session in the video it is soo helpful to see everything.

He is stunning. I don't know how you are able to let them go afterwards.

What size and shape pen do you use for this work?
I was gonna ask the same thing!
Horses are long, and don’t turn at corners, their body’s are long-standing so they bend so I 🤔 a round pen would be better
You are sweating more than the mustang I think it’s that sunburn you got at the auction! Lol
Also can you do a tutorial on how you teach the rear and spanish walk???
