I enjoyed your video. If you get the chance, install a few shut off valves to isolate certain components. For example, it's a good idea to have a shutoff valve between your water tank and your water pump. Good luck on your adventures and keep the videos coming!
I am hoping to get both gray and potable water tank installed before this summer, before my next vacation with the bus. That was a good idea for a low profile shower drain. I am trying to figure out in my very small bus, how I can do a shower at all, but the low profile drain you have should give me options.
Definitely! We decided to have the shower even before finding this drain, and we were glad to have that solution! It makes it easy to have a custom low shower pan and not lose to much height!
13:17 - I've always wondered where those holes on the sides end. i hate drilling holes on the floor, I'd rather not if i can avoid it. 10:57 - but did you just drill a hole in the van's frame?? 😱
Us too! We've drilled as less holes as possible during our build, but this one was one inevitable with our shower being so low! And yes, that's a hole in the frame! That's actually right where those "gutter" holes lead to at 13:17! That's the easiest way through I found to run the drain pipes
