@@JoseArteagaTravels I hope next year to be able to visit my family. And will be a great pleasure to meet you in person. ..great video..awesome quality picture...and thanks again for visiting my family bakery..
Really enjoyed this video! Nice to know the business has been locally owned for some many years. Very special that it has been passed down. Wish them luck for many years to come. Everything looked delicious!
Awesome video Jose ! My girlfriend and I took the bus from Cancun to Merida last year . We had taken a taxi to Plaza Grande from the bus station because our hotel was near the plaza .When we got to the hotel she realized she had lost her wallet , so we back tracked through the plaza and low and behold there it was in the middle of the plaza everything intact hundreds of people all around. We only spent a full day there but we really enjoyed the feel there and the meals and architecture.
La suprema is my grandmothers and grandfathers original bakery. They left it to my uncle who left it to my cousin mike who will leave it to Annette. Annette is the Pastry Chef who founded “Dulce Momentos”. The suprema continues to make bread the way my grandfather made bread. Many wonderful bakers in this family. My father was a young man when he went to work for my grandfather as a baker and he met the owners beautiful daughter and they married . Delicious family tradition and memories. Thank you so much for the video❤️
Thank you! Que padre que los conoces y que tambien ya sabes que rico son sus dulces! Yes it is crazy incredible I have them in my back yard! They really are the best I've had in Merida!
I gained weight just watching this, so much good fresh food in Mexico, I hope the individual shops never end there, so much better than assembly line processed food that you find in the chain stores here.
Awesome video! And just in time, I’m heading out to merida next month and I will for sure be stopping by! I’m super impressed with the hamburger and hot dog buns, I bet they are delish! And the pan with jamón y queso sounds amazing! I had some like that in Cancun but I bet these guys make it 💣
Oh I loved this and just wishing I could smell the breads - I also wish they would ship some of that to my home. Looked so yummy. I really like the subtitles with the spanish and hoping to pick up some more spanish words. Great job
In most of the country is know as conchas, at least I can tell you that in the center of México (DF, Estado de México, Morelos) and down in Guerrero is know as Concha, first time I ear someone calling them Chillindrinas, I know that name in bread but not for conchas
WOW WHAT A GREAT VIDEO LOVE ALL THAT BAKERY BREAD AND PASTRIES.. 1. QUESTION I SAW $17.OO C/U . I understand if each one . $17 was that American money for Mexican and it was Mexican money how much is 17 dollars in American money.👍🤗
Thank you! Well we are in Mexico so that's 17 pesos which at today's exchange rate is about 0.75 - 0.80 cents each. No one uses the US Dollar out here only pesos.
I just luv all Mexican bread! Great video and excellent translation! When I go back to Merida, I want to go to that bakery because it is family owned and I know that those types of stores r the best. One thing, my question is in what colonia is it or community in Merida. I would luv. To know!!!

I am in Merida Mexico right now and I want to know if you know about dmt, or a sacred tea ceremonies in Merida or nearby that is really sacred.
