I have much respect for Michigan state and I'm more than happy with a 24 point win but I'm still pissed about that pick 6 being called back. That was an awful call!
Dobbins is explosive but he doesn’t have long speed like Etienne or Zeke did. He got caught on that touchdown run but for some reason the db just tagged him instead of trying to tackle him
Grandmaster Flash our d was terrible in the 2nd quarter (made some really poor Plays and reads in the 2nd quarter ) and excellent for the other three quarters sorry not proud. If Ohio state scored 7 to 14 less points I would be proud, coz the game would have been winnable.
It wasnt your ds fault your offense basically gifted them 10 extra possesions the d played exceptional aside from 2 blown coverages and a fatigue drive
As a Michigan state fan I respect Ohio state as a dominant team. I think they will go all the way this year. And all things considered MSU did better than most expected.
I thought MSU played a good game as well. They either have an awesome O-line or Ohio St. has some serious concerns on their front seven. The game was their for MSU to win considering how they ran the ball...the QB just wasn't on his game this night.
@@kelleywhitehurst3180 How they ran the ball? They had 69 (nice) yards rushing on only 2.6 yards per carry. JK Dobbins had the total combined production of Michigan State’s entire team on one carry.
@@andygygi5135 Full disclosure...I must have been high this night. Cuz I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I made this comment. You are totally right. lol.
Ohio adding their first big win to their resume this season, inevitabley knocking Mich St. out of the top 25. Spectacular performance by the Buckeyes and something tells me its only beginning after we see them play a tough second half of their schedule.
@jakesully What was miserable about it? OSU ran roughshod over them 323-67, crushed total yardage 529-285, and covered the 20 point spread (which most "experts" said wouldn't happen). What more do you want?
@jakesully Wow...not only do you have tremendous insight on OSU football, you also know what I "need." Thanks for the (baseless) analysis and the (unwarranted) advice.
Ryan Day played with this michigan state defense, He did things on purpose so Ohio State knows how to play through adversity later on down the road when we play a team that compares with us.
Ryan Day also could of kept the foot on the paddle in the 4th quarter, you can tell he let up. Thats why he just ran run plays. We're talented enough to let teams score and then explode when we want. It was so easy in the second quarter as you can see.
Not to be cocky, but dont be fooled The Ohio State can turn it up anytime they want to, it wasnt nothing the spartans did or didnt do. I give them credit. But The Ohio State let up off the paddle. That just goes with the different level recruiting.
Sparty came in well prepared, but just couldn't handle the ridiculous athletes that the Buckeyes have across the board. The only two teams who may give them a game are Wisconsin and Penn State, and both have to come to the Shoe.
Watch how michigan state was moving so easy at first then the defense turned up the tensity. Offense did the same, they let up then turned up when they wanted to. Thats why they exoloded in the second quarter.
Also made some good adjustments. Further, a lot of what OSU was showing in the first couple possessions were meant to bait MSU on later possessions. First OSU TD was a perfect example: show MSU a run sweep that MSU sniffed out immediately and had covered....except it wasn't a run sweep, it was a play-action pass to the wide open receiver who's defender had abandoned in order to crash down on the supposed run play.
Im so sick of these shoulda, woulda, coulda, comments, we made mistakes to. And we had a missed field goal a pick 6 called back thats 10 extra points tacked on to the score. Take losing like a man.
If OSU plays like this against Penn st or Wisconsin they will likely lose. Poor play by offensive line and defensive line, and had a relatively tough time finding open recievers on a mediocre db group.
@@LardGreystoke This guy is playing the what if game like there was a possibility sparty could've won the game. I was just playing along basically saying it could've been much worse.
Chad Engelman imagine if this was a playoff game vs Clemson or LSU. Look how many missed opportunities Lewerke totally didn’t see (wide open TDs) OSU was lucky Lewerke was trash
If this was in East Lansing we would have won easily. Coach Dantonio can coach em up for sure, game would have been closer if we got a couple calls our way and scored a few more touchdowns and let them score a few less.
Ohio state hasnt lost in east lansing in two decades...stfu. Osu missed a field goal and got robbed of that last pick 6 touchdown. Should have been an even bigger blow out. Go find an offense better than my local middle school
I have much respect for Michigan state and I'm more than happy with a 24 point win but I'm still pissed about that pick 6 being called back. That was an awful call!
Yeah that call was stupid
Dwayne Haskins Yeah, it was a clean block. We got screwed on that one.
Lets just call it 41-10....
well they kind of gave Ohio State that first touchdown so I guess it all evens out in the end...
It was a good call it was a stupid decision by our player
8:05 good sportsmanship, #35!
@Andy Gygi I agree
Dobbins is an electrifying athlete

Dang, Jordan Fuller had two touchdowns called back this season now the Clemson one was a td but the MSU one was tough
Michigan State QB missed alot of open receivers. Pretty good game though
Yes especially Trent Gillison at 6:19 wide open in the endzone

Looking back on how the rest of the season went Michigan State played great
Horrible penalty call on that pick 6

Elijah Jackson if he made either one of those throws it was a td
