We flew in from Kuala Lumpur to see PG live. The Tauron Arena is just an amazing venue. It did justice to the sound and visual effects plus Manu's impeccable drumming.
Yes! Tony does look exactly as he did fourth years ago, Peter has my heart. He sound amazing, I’m going in September with my dear daughter and her mate!!!! So so excited. He is a genius.
I am astounded, amazed, and inspired by Peter's ability to raise people to their feet in joy, love, zest and completely feeling his connection from head to toe. GENIUS & HIS BAND IS TOP NOTCH MUSICIANS🎉❤❤❤
I'm sorry but it was thinking the exact opposite. It's obvious he has vocal issues, his voice sounds strained and he's struggling to get the tones reasonably decent. This is no disrespect since i've been a big fan for decades.
After leaving the machinery so many years ago you are still myno.1 singer and still have an awesome voice mr g 👍👊❤️ much love and top respect to you good sir 😊👍👊❤️
@@fletchsrv I said the same thing...lol Also, practice makes perfect no matter of age. Most of audience will probably be mostly 50 - 80 year old range.
I missed the concert in Austin Texas in 2023 and I regretted!! But the good thing is I saw 👀 them in the eighties in Oakland California and all the videos on MTV.
I have been a fan of Peter Gabriel and Genesis since the early days. The best concert I ever attended was Peter Gabriel's Secret World Tour, which I saw two days in a row in Dortmund, Germany. The first day, I was seated way up high, like a bird's-eye view, and the second day, I was in the standing area near the stage, quite close. Both experiences were simply fantastic. The highlight of the concert was "Biko," performed at the end. The audience practically sang the entire song on their own-it was an incredible experience. Peter Gabriel's music and his live performances are truly exceptional. Anyone who has the opportunity to attend his concerts should definitely do so :)
Thank you for the nice video compilation of the I/O-Tour start at Karkow. Mix of new and old songs, silent and powerful moments. A surprising opening with a red clothed (?) Peter playing cosmic games. See you in Munich at the "Kings place", Peter 😊
Just makes me more excited for October when he plays here in Vancouver. Yipee he is an awesome showman and his creativity at 73 years old is phenomenal 💞🌠
WHIS I COULD SEE ANOTHER GABRIEL SHOW LIVE AND SO I APPRECIATE THIS ONE DESPITE THE EDITING... I CAN NO LONGER AFFORD CONCERTS, BUT I SAW ALL THE GOOD BANDS IN MY DAY! A BIT OVER 100 CONCERTS... MANY WERE MIND-BLOWING! PETER GABRIEL WAS 2 OF THOSE SHOWS AND GENESIS WAS 3 OF THEM!
@JimmerJamesKM I think it is possible to be both political, progressive rock, and English at the same time. A person can be proud of their heritage without being racist or nationalistic. The Battle by The Strawbs is a good example of an anti-war song that is rooted in medieval history without being preachy and still rooted in being British, English folk rock, and progressive rock. Peter Gabriel failed here on all 3 counts by equating English culture with oppression in one broad stroke as he ditched his English heritage. A person can be proud of their heritage without being racist or nationalistic. Dave Cousins of the Strawbs proved him wrong with the song The Battle.
What an amazing array of songs PG has such a distinctive voice that remains timeless and strong. His band absolutely complement his deliveries. I hope he comes to Melbourne soon
Yes...that was my thought too. The audience was quiet. Looks like alot of people there. Perhaps it's just the recording. I know I'll be singing &,clapping loud and clear when they are here in Vancouver. Could it just be the culture?
It was a pretty fluid stage with loads of moving elements. Video has over taken the industry and his scenes were pretty awesome. Go see him if he is near!
Will be there in November in Palm Desert California. First time I saw Peter was in 1980. One of my all time heroes. And so great that Tony will be there once again. So cool that he’s still performing Biko. ❤ Thanks for posting this!
Absolutely great! ❤ Peter is my favorite artist for my lifetime. Nevertheless I heard some if his songs too many times so that I'm very, very glad about all the new songs which are so brillant! ❤
I'm a huge fan and have been since 1971. Two minor complaints though. Firstly, by over thinking the New moon release of tracks, the joy of listening to a new album is ruined. Secondly, I really don't like the perversely low key way Peter chooses to begin his concerts in recent times (last 20yrs!!)- I much prefer the big, exciting show opener! On the other hand, the genius that is PG has earned the right to do whatever the hell he likes!
Washing of the Water, Panopticom, For Kinds of Horses, I/O, Digging in the Dirt, Playing For Time ... Brakuje mi od dawna Wallflower i Shock the Monkey
Shame the new material is such short snippets, we've heard Biko a million times with people singing out of tune! I wish people would go to Karaoke if they want to sing along and let Peter sing at the super-expensive concerts where we have paid to hear them not him
He was in a band called Genesis and yet he believes that the earth is over 4 billion years old and that a meteorite brought life to earth. All he has to do is to read Genesis chapter one, and boom there you have it.
A magical experience. I saw him in Manchester. Great video, thanks.
Music is timeless just like Peter's voice and talent.🎶👍🏻💖
Folks, I am old and I am so appreciative of these guys putting it all out there! It's totally awesome! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was there and will never forget - simply awesome thank you Peter!

Przepiekny i pobudzający wyobrażnie spektakl z niezwyklymi wizualizacjami i cudowną muzyką♥️🙏♥️
Wish there was a translation here. There usually are but not on this comment.
Peter's voice has improved. Again. Every ten years it gets better.
...and it was Awesome to begin-with. Great concert.
What?? You must be joking😂
Its impressive how good Peter Gabriels voice still sounds. Tony Levin looks exactly like he did 40 years ago
i was thinking the exact same thing. this is the show to see. PG is incredible. Who is his backup singer?
ya cas he's bald since he was 22

Orange rather than red. The stage crew are wearing the same orange boiler suits.

Looks like a far more subdued stage setup for Pete-which is perfectly fine by me. As others have already noted, he sounds absolutely fantastic.

it would have been nice the entire concert.
I hope he at least plays ONE SONG from the second album ('scratch') which is my favorite. Even a slow one like Mother of Violence.
I’d vote for Perspective, but it’s no more than wishful thinking 😅
Niesamowite wydarzenie.
I’d vote for a Genesis reunion with Pete!
that repertoire has got no interest for them today we have to leave the past to the reality of the past

The "skin heads" with Peter Pan. He was a very good composer and singer😢.

Can you play something different. from Genesis to Revelations?
genesis songs?? are you serious? i dont believe he ever played a genesis song live since started his solo career.
@@reresimone4300 He hasn't. Which is what makes him soooooooooo original.
