i have said it before but Munich really shows up the US shows. Nearly every exhibit you have shown has really lovely surroundings and great acoustic treatment compared to most of the US shows where even headboards are not covered up in hotel rooms. I hope these videos are giving North American exhibitors some food for thought!
Ok this is Apple no it is Tesla but wait wrong video... way too expensive kinda no one can get such a turntable . Again something made to say "hey friends look what i have" as your friends doesn't even care at all . 8500 Euros like really ... even if it's great quality and a wonderful brand it doesn't justify the price , surely today which is scandalous . Guess people who buys those things are not music lovers but people that makes an investment and will sold that turntable very fast usualy in less than 5 years to gain the maximum money . A real music lover buy something like that in their 60's when they earned enough money . Not some youngsters from 25yo that hasn't saved money yet . Yes we can all dream of course..
and gullible... you forgot about that. audiophiles must be completely braindead to spend this much money on distasteful turntables that look like my grandparents bathroom sink.
And hear we go again with the emperor’s new cloths Way back when there were only records I bought all the SME’s and turntables But I always dreamed of cd’s with there pure sound LPp’s do not sound better When I go to a live concert and listen to a string quartet I do no hear crackles and pops like you get on a record These crazy people are not listening to the music they just love watching the turntable going round, I am a photographer who used film for decades and now use digital its the same as the records move on they are just tools
Well dude that's your opinion and i do respect it but CDs haven't overpassed vinyls yet and i'm talking about the sound quality not the specs but of course CDs sounds more than great indeed
How did you know? I have a Transcriptor Hydraulic Reference turntable in my collection and sometimes I just sit and watch it spin, with no record on the platter :). It's about interaction as much as anything else for me. My CD player just sits there, a faceless box, albeit a rather expensive one by most folks standards. My turntables on the other hand, it sits there, seemingly inviting me to put a record on it. I enjoy listening to vinyl, as opposed to CD's, or even Hi Res files and have often wondered if the reason is not partially psychosomatic. Basically because vinyl involves putting effort into using it, you value what you are listening to more?
it always reminds me of that perpetual motion machine kept in a vault
Beautiful works of art
