Socialblade says she had 5k tweets as of December, 2022 (account created in 2011). She now has 24,000 tweets, according to her X account. That's 19,000 tweets in the last 2 years. 25 tweets on AVERAGE per day, every day. EVERY. DAY. Miss a day? 50 tweets today to make up for that average. There is no amount of money in the world you could give me to make me do something that grotesque, let alone for an rpm of $0.01 13:07 btw
UA-cam still the king of content creation revenue, W video Devin I'd like to have a video where you make a tier list with the best social media platform to make the most money from, with a genuine brand dividing in the biggest niches (finance/sport/gaming/politics/other) and what kind of revenue generator is getting used (money from the social media platform, affiliates, whop/patreon/personal website subscription, sponsors, ugc, more) I'd really love to know the % of those and a video about this to know where to put my intentionallity/time and effort/energy
I almost didn’t click on this video because I didn’t know it was a Devin video, wish he had a logo or put his face in all his thumbnails so I could recognize them quick. 13:07
Not idea for gaming at all, I’m still trying to rise from 15 dollars on there after reaching the mark. Got paid 687 and it basically back tracked my time and reset.
As someone that’s gotten a few hundred dollars out of X - it is EXTREMELY hard to really make bank without resorting to the grift or the most brain rot impression farming - it definitely changes by niche but yeah it’s pretty unrealistic unless you’re an existing influencer with hundreds of thousands
Not sure if this is correct but every time I see her posts, the replies have a handful of people that mention Tiffany Fong is in a beta revenue share program for video impressions on top of her post revenue share which is why she and a handful of others are making multiples what everyone else is.
13:07 you’ve previously made it very clear that it’s paramount to exist on short form media, but obviously like what is said in this video, UA-cam is still king. I remember thinking back then that your view was a little too optimistic, but was that purely from a growth perspective? TikTok is obviously not a money printer, but are the conversions from TikTok to UA-cam worth the time if the UA-cam content, the meat and potatoes, aren’t good enough? I have found that almost every time I watch someone who started on TikTok their videos are lacking the components of good medium form content. TLDR: is it not more important to always to focus on UA-cam first and then only divert energy to other platforms once there is a concrete base?
it's crazy.. youtube feels so dead compared to say 2020 (duh) but even the creators who were getting massive views are waay down. the timthetatman, ninja, even linustechtips. People have grew old of yt, or they found something better to do. Maybe people just stopped watching long format videos and stick to shorts. 13:07 cheers
That’s a bad reference point. Those creators aren’t a reflection of UA-cam as a whole, their interest in general has diminished compared to Covid times. If they were still extremely popular on their native platforms (Twitch) and declining on YT that’d be another thing.

No matter how many Devin videos I watch it will never not be weird to call Twitter, X. Even if it has rebranded it sounds so dumb lol
I don’t hate Elon but I’m not calling twitter X
X 5 millions impressions is wild
@13:07 still here and very informative vid as always. Keep up the great work.

I think you should factor in the time required to generate an impression on twitter vs youtube.
I almost didn’t click on this video because I didn’t know it was a Devin video, wish he had a logo or put his face in all his thumbnails so I could recognize them quick. 13:07
