I love these. Actually educational, not just an excuse to smurf. Watched this and tried to incorporate it into my games today and I could tell the difference in my performance and wr. Not magically GM overnight but now I finally have motivation to improve and really look forward to logging on. When I first started and was in bronze I always thought I should aim for diamond. When I finally got there I fell complacent and mained qp. It's finally time to set a new goal. See y'all losers later I'm getting to GM.

That's the feeling of playing Ana, you have to be one step ahead of all the other players, do not die against Doom on your on and on top off all that you need to heal tanks dmg and even off healer. If you don't do all that the team complain that you are not healing. That's why is a hell to be a golden support.
And then somewhere in a plat game, a widow grapples onto the low ground, quick scope headshots you, dies immediately, then your team complains that you died and starts throwing. PEAK overwatch.

you know, ive always blamed my teammates whenever id lose games. and they were "the reason" i wasnt climbing. before watching your videos i never put nearly as much thought into it as you have, so being able to see different perspectives helps a ton!

There is something so powerful with patience and something so hard, almost impossible, to "practice". I cannot stand my lazy DPS teammates who refuse to counter swap over some sort of pride that the enemy forced a change. But no matter how many times my those stationary, sniper-class characters get dumpster dove by three divers, they insist it's nothing to do with their inflexibility. There are only so many rounds of ranked I can play.

Im trying to climb with brig after her nerf and people always assume im the one lacking in heals when 80% of the time im gold in heals and am averaging 11k per 10 and im not even supposed to be main healer yet having stats like one, so annoying. Her shield buff so far is actually better than i thought, really allows be to brawl a but longer and aoe heal more effectively and for longer periods of time.

Man, I main Moira as a healer but every single video that I watch, my mind wants to try using Ana immediately 😂😂😂
same! it's such a different play style. with moira you can more or less spam a lot of healing but the more i watch ml7 i realize with ana you have to be calm and collected with the shots you are taking, and it's a hard transition. i'll stick to qp ana for now xD

So in competitive I was 20 sr of plat we were winning until our tanks both ulted of the map and flamed me and our Moria for not healing them ( despite having 21000 healing ) I was wondering if you have dealt with these people and how to work around them
If your tanks are feeding - you can try to pick bap to save them. You can't fix them or their attitude, just mute them, but you can try to help them survive longer with bap

I rarely watch ml7 becasue half of the fun of ana is discovering this kind of stuff by yourself in my opinion; however, I always do learn something

But why do you need to quick scope ? You shoot pretty much exactly at the same time you scope, so with no additional time to aim. Which means you were already aiming at the target, and therefore don't need to scope at all ?? I don't see the benefit, aren't you just showing your position with the trail ?
Because scoped shots are hitscan and unscoped shots are projectile. When you're playing in a critical fight like that and healing long range, you NEED to hit your shots. Trying to hit projectiles on moving characters from that distance, you're going to miss shots. If you miss your shots and your team dies, it's your fault. Quick scoping also allows you to move into cover more quickly because you move slower when you're scoped in. (I'm masters Ana)
