Can’t thank you enough, been struggling so much figuring this out. Thank you for not only explaining how, but also why we need to do it. Most people don’t but you’re a great teacher because of that.
How did you figure this out? The link seems to be outdated as it does not result in downloading same things as the tutor shows in his video. There are no Anim_In and Anim_out folders and every single time I try to import animations into blender directly and convert them using the plugin - ir returns me an error. Would like to know what I am doing wrong if you do not mind!
yeah the pluging kinda works for me but the plugin does not convert skeletons properly. I'm missing a lot of bones that the video features, such as the clavicle, spine, eyes and etc.@@virtualiuasistentubiuras5120 I can't IK rig when the bones don't exist

In a new version I encountered a problem that output animations are slightly rotated around vertical axis. About 10 degrees rotation. I used it on YBot from Mixamo. The original version works fine for me.
@@anthonygaribay1830 I don't really remember. Probably, I gave up and ignored this additional rotation since the original version had some other more severe problems.

I am completely new to UE and the only youtube videos that seemed to work properly were ue4 ones. As UE5 matures, Most UE5 videos have become obsolete. It is a very hard time to start UE5.I made almost no progress and was planning to learn UE4 instead of 5 and then I found your channel. Thanks.

@@evansbohl Par contre j'ai une question : jusqu'à aujourd'hui tout marchait parfaitement mais j'ai essayé de dl une nouvelle anim de mixamo et répéter le processus. Et apparemment le skeleton n'est plus le même et donc l'import est cassé (et quand je réimporte le xbot, il est différent que celui que j'ai dl y'a quelques jours). Du coup mon retargeter et tout ne marchent plus pour toutes les nouvelles anim que je dl. Jsp si ça te dis qqch ?
En gros, le skeleton mixamo de la vidéo (et celui que j'ai dl au début) et le skeleton mixamo que je trouve sur le site actuellement sont différents (notamment pas d'os au niveau des yeux et orientation différente). Je fais quelque chose de mal ? Ou alors ils ont juste changé le skeleton

I am completely new to UE and the only youtube videos that seemed to work properly were ue4 ones. As UE5 matures, Most UE5 videos have become obsolete. It is a very hard time to start UE5.I made almost no progress and was planning to learn UE4 instead of 5 and then I found your channel. Thanks.

@@evansbohl Par contre j'ai une question : jusqu'à aujourd'hui tout marchait parfaitement mais j'ai essayé de dl une nouvelle anim de mixamo et répéter le processus. Et apparemment le skeleton n'est plus le même et donc l'import est cassé (et quand je réimporte le xbot, il est différent que celui que j'ai dl y'a quelques jours). Du coup mon retargeter et tout ne marchent plus pour toutes les nouvelles anim que je dl. Jsp si ça te dis qqch ?
En gros, le skeleton mixamo de la vidéo (et celui que j'ai dl au début) et le skeleton mixamo que je trouve sur le site actuellement sont différents (notamment pas d'os au niveau des yeux et orientation différente). Je fais quelque chose de mal ? Ou alors ils ont juste changé le skeleton
