- Replacing the door jam weatherstripping seals on a Ford truck! Easy to do, better than using the surgical tubing fix
DONT BUY THE CHEAP PARTS!!

You will need 4 seals for a 4 door truck, and the rear door seals will need to be cut several inches. Ford no longer makes the rear door seals

Hi Gage can’t find a video of you installing driver door?
It's exactly the same for all doors
I have a few questions on the weather strip on the passenger and driver door on the bottom of the metal on the door
Sure
Do you have a link where I can buy this?
I get them from Ford
My corners are seated and there’s still a little over hang did I do something wrong or is it ok to cut?
Yes, these seals come a little too long so you can trim them
I have a 2001 f450 standard cab. The factory seal is cut at the bottom on the passenger side. Just took it off now to replace. If it comes like that from the factory, I assume it's meant to be cut.
Will this link work for my rear passenger door 2000 Ford Excursion
@GageFixesEverything, I ordered the same seal you did for my 2003 Excursion but it is too long, about 8” too long. I ordered the factory Ford part from a Ford dealer. What do you recommend? Thanks
Ps. Forgot to mention I’m installing on the second row doors.
On the 2nd row doors, you much cut the seal. Sorry for the late reply, i;m sure you have already found this out.
No one makes the shorter 2nd row seals, only the fronts, they are the same though except shorter
@@TheGaginator the part numbers are different. I will post the correct one. No need to cut the rear
have you found one for the barn door seal?
Unfortunately, no. No one will ever make them most likely. You can boil the seals to swell them, and or fill them with surgical tubing. Another option is to coat the in Vaseline. It swells the seals, but it messy and gross
@@TheGaginator oh wow those are some good ideas! thank you. ill be trying this out.
I’ve got dust coming in the Ex from the back hatch. It’s from the weather stripping for sure. The part number is discontinued. Have you had to address this yet?
Finding good used seals is what we've been doing so far for the barn doors and hatch
Part number link?
