So, what do we think of the upcoming DLC? I'll admit that it does feel a bit odd not coming out with a free update at the same time. However if you really miss your favourites from JWE1 This is the DLC for you.

If you recall, when the Gigantoraptor released in the predator pack, it was incapable of hunting, but Frontier changed that with the very next update. I feel it won't be long until Ankylodocus is given the ability to fight back, maybe alongside Sauropods in general because let's be honest. They should not be defenseless with how heavy they are.
Also, the pack hunting thing is something they added alongside the predator pack free update. A good chunk of carnivores will join their kin when one of them starts a hunt.

I’m a bit of a pessimist but they probably wont do that. If i had to think of a reason it could be that “its to slow for combat”, but I hope I’m wrong

@@Going4Broke2528facts. Sauropods are way too op. They just need to get on their hind legs and boom. No carnivore will survive that. It’s honestly unfair pitting a trex with a brachiosaurus
Such a missed opportunity to have the Scorpious rex try and jump on the ankylodocus and the sauropod just lifts its club up and bats the scorpius rex on the ground, then slams its club onto the fallen scorpius and kill it. It is the most heavily armored and combat orriented sauropod and its still a coward. Gotta love all these missed opportunities.
I’m afraid the Ankylodocus can only lift its tail so high, therefore I’m afraid that won’t be feasible for the Ankylodocus.

I am very disappointed that Ankylodocus can’t fight carnivores and shatter the ribs of Indominus Rex.
I think it's safe to assume someone in Frontier just hates Sauropods at this point.
KInda basically sums up all sauropods in the game, like you telling me these giants cant put up a fight?? THEY LITERALLY GREW LARGER TO FIGHT OFF CARNIVORES, come on guys.

Ankylodocus was actually the one I was most excited about, because of what it could be. Even if Spinoraptor is still my favorite.
I feared they wouldn't make Ankylodocus fight, but I hoped Frontier wouldn't commit that huge mistake again... Ankylodocus NOT fighting back was it's bigger problem in the first game, even more then how it looked. They improved his apearance, but it still not fighting back makes it pointless...

One thing that this game is still missing is the animation for the ceratopsids where they finish off a carnivore by stabbing its neck with its horn.
I guess the reason they didn't do it because it would look weird on one horned ceratopsians

The new anklyodocus model looks more like apatosaurus + anklyosaurus. I feel as the tail could’ve been longer to really give it that swing to hit carnivores.
Toro was the big bad for season one. He got burned by gasoline and he came back and haunted them for the rest of the season. He later got poached from isla nublar and then later got freed from the console and is still on mantacorp island.
The Gaming Beaver was my childhood, great to see he’s still at it after all this time!!!
I love this DLC but why, just WHY can't any sauropod defend itself? Not even the ankylodocus? Its very dissapointing to me but I absolutely love the spinoraptor, I'll say that

Beaver! There’s animations you missed with the new hybrids. Each hybrid has a animation to each of their halves. Stegoceratops has two animations with stegosaurs and triceratops! Same with spino raptor and velociraptor

The herbivores do have feeding interactions when they're feeding from the same tree or bush, it's just harder to make happen since their food is spread out everywhere.
In Evo 1 Stegoceratops used the thagomizer during fights and finished off opponents with its horns. Looks like they took out the thagomizer attack.

I always thought it was dumb that the sauropods just dont defend themselves like at all because you know that they definitely would do so but for whatever reason the devs just kinda made them boring like that which kinda sucks but i mean at least some of the other herbis can defend themselves
Beaver if you hadn’t already noticed the spino raptor I think got a increase in size from the last game because I think in the last game they were the same size as the raptor but now there like the size of a medium carnivore

I love this update but I’m disappointed with the attack, anklodcus should be able to attack stegoseratops should attack with its tail and head and spinoraptor should have mor finishing kill animation but I’m just happy that we have them back

...In all honestly the Ankylodocus just looks like an actual dinosaur to me. I am fairly certain there was an armored sauropod in the form of Sauropelta, and wasn't there a club tailed sauropod who's name escapes me hailing out of China?
Addendum, Sauropelta was a species of ankylosaur, the armored sauropod was Saltasaurus... haven't the foggiest how I got the two switched.

I like the fact that spinoraptor lux has the same bioluminesence as chromospinus from Jurassic world the game
