It's not only Arabic, it's middle eastern. Middle eastern people such as Jews, Druze, Kurds, Persians, Yizidiz, Turks etc. all have riffs such as this.
@@noamrotstain3182 it’s a song called ARABIAN nights. It’s safe to say she was doing Arab riffs.

You could just say siren
Yes sirens!?

@@yourbisexualsister same
she sounds like an actual cross between an angel and siren... i love her so much, she deserves so much fame
The fact that she sang 90% of this song in her chest voice is impressive! Especially some of those higher notes! 👏🏻
i mean, it's not all chest, she's belting those high notes with a very balanced mix (it's a C5, if she was hitting that with pure chest it would sound strained)
Good point!
@@leehoohn1379 yeah..
im sorry if this comes off as rude but i dotn understand why singing in chest voice is impressive. For singers it's a very easy thing to do but pls do educate me if there's something im missing
@@haichoi8799 it's not easy if you're going above your first passaggio (usually A4 for women) and trying to not strain/hurt your voice. This is something we take for granted because the vast majority of pop music today sits above that and belting is a common practice that basically every contemporary professional singer knows, but it's still hard - opera singers, for example, who usually utilize their head register in those higher notes, have a hard time learning how to belt. You need to have a healthy mix to not strain your voice when doing it, because pulling chest all the way up does not sound and may cause damage to your vocal cords, and developing that healthy mix is difficult.
Okay. You’re 100% a siren. If this is what made sailors jump overboard to their deaths....I get it
"respect the hustle"
I will also add that this song, specifically in the way "nights" is sung (plus the natural reverb from the museum) adds to the whole "siren" feeling a ton. I can see this noise coming from a creature that's meant to put you in a trance.
She was moving the iceberg with her voice that hit the titanic
She has the perfect voice for this, and I love that she pronounces “Arabian” more like you’d hear Arabians pronounce it.
👍🏻
As an Arabian i improve this comment literal FAX
As an Arab she does an amazing job and sings similar to the Arabic way of singing
If anybody sings "Arabian Nights", and doesn't add the slight Arabic accent, at least to "Arabian", it's a loss

Where the caravan camels roam
Where it's flat and immense
And the heat is intense
It's barbaric, but hey, it's home
Where the wind's from the east
And the sun's from the west
And the sands in the glass are right
Come on down
Stop on by
Hop a carpet and fly
To another Arabian night
