I love the mug shelf and the nice collection of cups....I would spend 5 mins deciding which cup to use 😛
First thing in the morning i can just about find the button on my Nespresso.
😂
Dude that’s a smooth puck screen drop! HOW?
Man. That was so dope.
Thank you!
Love the mug shelving :D
cheers mate! i'm a big fan as well.
Wow great setup!
Cheers man!
Very cool! Sweet setup, too! Which puck screen is that? Would be perfect to accommodate the large screw on my La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi ii! Cheers!
Specially made for machines with a big screw! it's from normcore!
Great workflow! Where is your wooden plate from where your tamper and puck screen is placed on?
Cheers! It's from normcore. I love it
That’s a wonderful workflow
Thanks Raf!
Nice Vid! What milk pitcher and what size do you use?
Thank you! i use a 300ml (if i remember right) to steam in then transfer over to my WPM 450ml
That black portafilter is soooo sick.
Do you notice any difference using the puck screen with a hole in the middle versus the standard puck screen?
Hey
the reason I use it is that on the linea mini there is a big screw in the shower head so a "normal" pick screen doesn't fit and will bend
Den video gjorde lige min morgen lidt bedre 😊
Det jeg glad for at høre!
Græsmælk fra Thise min fyr. Prøv det. Eller Naturmælk.
Nice setup! Coffee was barely dripping, is the grind setting too low? Or you like it that way?
1:1 ratio aka 18g in 18g out in 20-30 secs. Therefore i have to grind fine to reach that
I do the same with my passalaqua cremdador respective harem
found a mistake-cold cup!!!!😂Grettings to Denmark! Chris
May I ask from which danish roasteries you prefer ?
And what is the region you normally choose (Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda) or (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Brazil) ?
there are so many good ones!
sillers
coffee collective
lajmi
clever
la cabra etc etc
i usually go after taste notes and not region
@@danishcoffeeguy I didn't know lajmi. The rest I did
I'll check them out
@@Kats072307 sounds like you know most of the good roasters in DK then ;)
@@danishcoffeeguy I just tried April Roastery, and I liked their espresso a lot. The Costa Rican one much more than the one from Ecuador. Next, I will try the ones from Ethiopia and Guatemala.
I have also ordered from Norway, from Tim Wendelboe, which I will try in the end of the month. I was surprised how fast it arrived. From Danish roasters, it normally arrives in 3 days, but from Tim (Norway) it arrived in just 2 days
have you considered warming up the cup with hot water before you run the shot?
Used to have them on the machine itself before. But now that I have them on the wall, I don't ofc. I was worried about them being cold at first but i don't really mind
At a la Marzocco demo, the representative told me that a warm cup is not really that important. The real thing is to make sure the portafilter is hot.
@@googlereviewer2743 “not really that important”. After all that nice workflow and then missing that step.
Which portafilter is this?
just the standard that comes with LM
Need to wash 2 pitchers 😂
haha it's not as annoying as it sounds but yes. i can understand why some wouldn't
@@danishcoffeeguy but you are already steaming in a jibbi which should be a latte art pitcher?
@@Bowser558 it's quite small not good to pour with. The one i pour with is bigger and has a different spout that i prefer :)
@@danishcoffeeguy yeah the sharper spout pitchers are not for beginners and need a lot of practice . They’re for different purposes but rounder spouts and larger pitchers are easier . I have both as well :)
@@Bowser558 just depends on what you wanna make. I love bold lines and tulips so a wide spout is my go to
Why is the puck screen necessary? I would have expected that the shower screen on a quality machine like a LMLM would be sufficient?
keeps the shower screen clean has nothing to do with the quality of LM
Lance Hedrick has a video on puck screens for you. Better extraction at coarser grind setting leads to more consistent, better tasting shots.
Cold cup? …. Hell no
you'll be fine :)
df83
it is indeed
Weak spot of the setup. Classic mistake of blowing it all on the espresso machine. Ratio is off. But that's not even the issue. DF64V will be better by default, quieter, more burr sets, variable RPM.
@@RasenRambo23 lol the DF83 is a very good grinder. I'm sorry that it doesn't cost as much as the machine if that would've made you feel better. Not sure why you call this a "mistake" and it's got SSP burrs there is no reason for me to buy a new grinder just because my machine cost more. I have the money to buy whatever grinder I want but I just don't see it changing anything for me :) thank you tho
@@danishcoffeeguy The DF64V is cheaper than the DF83. As I stated, it's not about the price ratio. It's just the better machine because of variable RPM. But it's fine, some people don't like to be able to control every single aspect and just enjoy a linear work flow.
@@RasenRambo23 idk which one of the grinders are better. I got a good deal on the df83 with ssp burrs before it even came out in the EU and I needed an upgrade so I just pulled the trigger on this. Also because it was new. I'm not too familiar with RPM etc so it's not a must for me :) if I were to buy a new one right now it would probably be the p64
Let me guess the Coffee has a nice plasticish finish in the aftertaste.
Why would it?
no? why would it have that lol
@@danishcoffeeguyI'm thinking they have no clue what the espresso machine is and think it's a cheap plasticky one? I dunno lol.
@@danishcoffeeguy Because of the plastic single dose container. It's just bullshit. It looks nice but why filling the beans in these transparent containers? It just oxidises and will lose aromatics.
internet troll?
