The one that really annoys me about Japanese anime is that everything has to be Manga before it becomes anime. There is no independent thought as to how they can create an anime series from scratch. This is why I spent about 80 percent of my attention watching Chinese anime and 20 percent on Japanese anime. There is such an overwhelming number of Chinese animation that you could watch 24 hours a day for 4 years straight and you would never run of anime.
