||| Ananda Scouts Centenary Celebration Song ||| Bathiya Jayakody with Ananda Scouts ADVENTURE OF A CENTURY (AOC) Celebration Event (1916-2016) This video features the Launching of the “Yowun Viye Wera Wikum” Centenary Celebratory song of the 10th Colombo Ananda College Scout Group. At the "Adventure of A Century" centenary celebration event of Ananda Scouts on 19th and 20th December 2016 featuring Sri Lankan pop artist Bathiya Jayakody with Ananda Scouts. We witnessed the humble quality of Mr.Jayakody ,who is also a proud Anandian, former Scout and former Deputy Head Prefect of Ananda, when he invites Ananda scouts to sing along, while sharing his due respect and gratitude with them. Also he allowed us to use his BnS Studio for Song Recordings and other things. And i'm so greatfull to Perform with, such a Popular Artist in Sri Lanka (Mr. Bathiya Jayakody) in a young age. I can recall this Closing ceremony vividly and precisely, especially the moment that I performed the song at the Kularathne Hall, on 20th December 2016 : precisely Five years ago. I, Kalindhu Samudh Jayathungaarachchi (then Patrol Leader) , can not slide without mentioning the names of the performers of the occasion Samath Gamlath (then Senior scout) , Nadil Hejitha (batch mate) , Archana Lokuge (then Board bearer) , Sunera Lanaroll (then Assistant Patrol Leader) , Dilvan Lokuge (then Junior Scout). I would also like to thank Ananda scouts and the hands behind this project for giving me this opportunity (Former Troop Leader Kaveesha Akalanka and Former Board Of Official Archana Lokuge) , which was a defining moment of my life that I still reminisce about.
