We always take broken pallet wood camping. Burns great. I’m the fire starter and use fire starter block and lighter cardboard and kindling size pallet wood. But also will use what’s available in my environment . Bark especially …burns so well.
Hello Brian, I noticed you removed the plastic plug on your water heater. Replaced it with the valve that plastic plug is for safety. Too much pressure builds up in the water heater. The plug is designed to let go. You might want to rethink that. 0:04
As a plumber I don't know if trailer water heaters are the same as house but it's not really a good idea to use the relief valve so much to get the air out due to any kind of dirt clogging the relief valve. If there is a valve at the bottom like house water heaters that would be your best bet
Thanks for the comment. Been camping all my life. This will be my third pop-up camper I've owned. This is the best one yet. The only thing I don't like about it is the time to set up and take down. It takes too long.
Hi just found your channel.Being from the Hagersville area its nice to see camping videos in my area. Haven't been to Turkey Point in 20 years. Don't drive.
Hi this video sure brings memories back on about 35 to 40 years ago with the Coleman Pop Up. What years is your like wow a shower,,. In wat region is this sure looks nice and you have a big site have fun.
My trailer is a 2013 Jayco 1006. This is Turkey Point Provincial Park located in southern Ontario near the shores of Lake Erie. I always choose provincial parks because their sites are bigger and more private.
@@marikiemarie7622 Often timber used for construction has had chemicals added to it to preserve it. Just because its wood doesn't mean its safe to burn.
@bullymac68 I'm not talking about just wood. I'm talking about firewood. Firewood made for buying at campsites, cooking wood and wood for warming house. That wood can't pass production for those uses. Bagged, mass produced camp fire wood or cooking wood wouldn't be treated
Nice setup that hammock looks so relaxing
Very nice video! FYI It wasn't a dud, just needed a little poking to get some oxygen under the wood with the explosion!

Save a Wal Mart bag full of dryer lent. It works really good too.
hahaha it looks like you truly enjoy your camping experience. :)
Thank you. Yes I love camping and being outdoors that why I moved to Northern Ontario. I hope to have another video coming out soon.

Cool video. I like that fire starter idea too bad it was a dud, but i do like that pop-up camper!
Thanks Linda. I have more camping videos coming soon
For your campfire I would have brought some junk mail to help start the fire! But it's your video experience
Thank you for sharing your video. I must say, I love your camping style. I also have a popup camper, I don't mind camping solo. 👍

Dry wood smokes less too.

I camped out in the pop up camper. On my X front yard. It wasn’t bad.
I've done that to actually
60 gallon water tank... haha, I was thinking, "man, that is huge!"
Slip of the tongue lol. I'm still kind of new to Youtubing 😂
I'm looking at getting a small camper.
One way to have hot water without using propane is to use a large coffee urn that plugs into 110 wherever it is convenient.
When we going camping 95% of the time we get a site with no power. Sites are easier to get and cheeper.
Well hello Brian ...
Hey hows it going?
@@MuskokaAdventures See you are doing well with your vid site and activities - thats good.
Yes its awesome. I wasn't expecting that. I have a few more videos coming soon.
Hope your wood hasn't been treated. Would make for a nice toxic campfire!
No. It was all clean wood.
Who would treat firewood? It's made for firewood

@@marikiemarie7622 Correct. The wood being used in the video looked like slats off a bed base hence my comment.
