- RCBO breaker connection in Distribution Board
In This video we are going to learn how to do Connection of RCBO Circuit Breaker,
Q. What is an RCBO
Ans. RCBO stands for 'Residual Current Breaker with Over-Current'. As the name suggests, it protects against two types of fault and in essence combines the functionality of an MCB and RCCB.
RCBOs are commonly used in applications where there is the need to combine protection against overcurrents (overload and short-circuit) and protection against earth leakage currents.

I now install different types of Solar inverter system configuration. thanks to your series of highly educational and professional videos. Thanks a lot
Explanation was very clear. Thank you.
Amazing stuff!
Thank you Sir from Ghana
Many thanks
Thank you Sir
Thank you so much. Can you make a video playlists about invertor.
Please explain wiring drawings for rcbo or rccb, when inverter is connected.
Thank you for this video. I am electrical technician, I follow you from Chad 🇷🇴🎉🎉
Sir please provide Hindi link of above video
How i to this is myself and my home please
Mcb power earth fault green yellow start stop reset neutral teacher ji
Sir please how can I download the software
Just use RCCB if you are still using MCBs. The point of using RCBOs is to get rid of RCCB+MCBs.
You videos a great to teach my boy thanks, Please do a video on MEN
What is the point in using an RCBO, followed by MCBs?
The RCBO already contains the thermal protection of a MCB and in case of a short-circuit down the line, in any of the three rooms, the RCBO will trip first, instead of the MCBs, cutting off the energy in all three rooms at once, making problems identification harder.
If you decide to use the RCBO, use it on its own, as protection for individual circuits.
In this case, it is better to use three RCBO devices, one for each room.
Alternatively, if you still want to use MCBs for every room circuit, you are better off using a RCCB in front of them.
