Zambezi Zinger - On Ride POV - New at Worlds of Fun
Вставка
- Опубліковано 17 тра 2023
- Zambezi Zinger is the first roller coaster to feature the newest train design from GCI. The Infinity Flyer is a class 5 modern-age train capable of taking on the most extreme coaster elements. Zambezi Zinger POV, 4K Full On-Ride, Front. #worldsoffun #rollercoaster #zambezizinger
It mimics the original Zambezi Zinger at the park with a spiral lift hill, and tunnel. The ride features wooden and steel roller coaster tracks, making it a true hybrid.

The ending portion of the ride looks wild. It’s crazy how it appears to gain speed as the ride progresses. Super cool usage of the terrain!
We just rode it 45 minutes ago. I think most people will be pleasantly surprised at how good this coaster is. Those tight turns towards the end are impressive. It definitely does not disappoint.
Those low-to-the-ground moments looks insane! A lot of good coasters are opening this year!
This looks so much faster than the first POV, im impressed!!
Love the sound the new titan track makes. It's such a loud rumble in real life and I like it
A rumble reminiscent of B&M before the beam dampening.
@@jbponzi1 gotta keep the karens happy that live 10miles from the park but somehow still hear every ride
going today!! very exited!!
This looks like an excellent coaster for the park. I'm just a tiny bit bummed out that this is another GCI and not anything too different BUT with that being said I do understand that GCI and Skyline Attractions have been trying to put their new Titan track and trains to the test for a while which in my opinion looks like it's going to exceed expectations. The one thing that worries me the most is that lift Hill. I just feel like it's screaming for maintenance already.
Well, you gotta start somewhere with a new experiment.
Haha that's what I was thinking. Especially those electrical box mounts and how they mounted them.
I’d argue it’d be less of a hassle. Regular chain lifts are much more complicated and have more moving parts than drive tires.
Only GCI could make a family woodie look like a legit thrill ride.
It’s what RMC would do if they’re forced to use Topper Track.
Gravity Group beat you to it.
it's new so it'll be smooth af... give it 3 years and it'll feel like the timber wolf
@@Tito9857 Yep. I rode the Prowler when it first opened and they opened the park just for people to test it. Smooth as butter. I went back a couple years ago and, while better than Timber Wolf, was a far cry from its former smoothness.
@@Blarcharimo though thats what makes it fun though. gives the ride character
Gotta say I'm impressed it worked. Seems that the titan track being pre-fabricated and all speeds up construction for sure.
The last piece of track is custom and takes most time of the track construction.
That looks like a lot of fun
I hope we get a park like Carowinds to do this
Amazing!
That's a super interesting system of anti roll backs and the friction wheels. Crazy how they hung those electrical boxes up the lift hill. Just 2 big lag bolts holding those like.... 2x12's up in a sheer position. Something tells me they'll have to rebuild that in 10 years.
The lift curve, drive and anti-rollbacks are very Anton Schwarzkopf vibes of the modified Thriller/Taz Texas Tornado/chimera now American triple loop lift hill.
Reminds me of when I was canoeing down the Zambezi in Africa.
Cool ride!!!
This looks fantastic!
Great ride.
I’m sooo excited to see how these new trains are gonna run🤩
It will be fine. Still a weird addition considering Prowler is right there and its running better than ever too.
Right? I’m excited I guess but confused
Just wanted to say that the picture quality of your videos is top-notch! Thanks!
I kept misreading everybody saying "GCI" and thought "wow, this is some really good CGI, it's so realistic!"
this is a pure Punkrock Coaster, GCI forever!
Very interesting. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day now.
My brother rode this he said the turns is too extreme he feel like a few inches from the ground during sharp turns and two ladies in front of him passed out from powerful g forces.
It's more of a thrill ride than a family ride. One of the best yet.
Watching thjs, you can feel the crushing positive Gs.
The track looks so new i thought it was animated for half the time
Looks outstanding
Wow!!
I remember when the original Zambezi zinger opened at worlds of fun it was a metal roller coaster but that one looks wicked too
I can’t wait to get my zambezi zung
I kept reading "CGI" and I was thinking, "Woahhh! This is the best CGI I have ever seen! Look at the guys in the background coming down the hill with that wood. So realistic!" Then I re-read it. "GCI".
Those anti rollbacks.. very creative
Wish bgt would get something like this
It would have to be all titan track, wooden coasters don't fare too well with Florida's humidity and the last GCI to go to BGT is a prime example of this.
@@StormBreakr 1000%
I bet that first drop will surprise.
Your POV's are my favorite. ❤
It ain’t his. It’s worlds of funs
Looks like it's smooth as silk and a lot of fun. But is it a little short on height and slow compared to other coasters being debuted this year? As an example, the new Wildcat's Revenge at Hersheypark in PA is 140 feet tall and has a top speed of 62 m.p.h. In comparison, the Zinger is only 74 feet tall and has top speed of 45 m.p.h. As the man once said, "Size Does Matter."
Well there is an interesting thing i've never seen before, a lift system of wheels but then again, I've experience this on the incredible hulk
Lots of old portable Schwarzkopf coasters used tire lifts. (The original Zambezi Zinger was a Schwarzkopf too, but I think it was actually a powered coaster instead, with a power rail on the lift hill and motors in the train.)
why yall keeping this beast quiet???A++++ hot dammmmmm🤣
Man this coaster really hauls ass through those elements like its nothing.
this ride is so fun already been on it 4 times!
yes this is truly one of the coasters that are open at the park right now
@@fadbob_truly one of the coasters that exist
It already finished testing?!? I thought the last piece of track was installed like Two weeks ago. And then Testing went fine?
Second
It’s open?! I literally went to World Of Fun my local theme park not too long ago and your telling me it’s suddenly open now!!!
Opens Memorial Day Weekend
It actually opens to season pass holders on the 25th and open to general public on the 26th
@@Chiefsfan34567 so it opens for gold season pass members on the 25th and for One Day Passes the 26th
Why is the footage sped up?
It isn’t…the ride has just gotten faster as they have run it more.
@@r.c.ekingston I know the ride has gotten faster, but that footage is definitely sped up. I've watched enough RMC/GCI coasters to know that they don't magically increase gravity!
Nope, not sped up!
@@skylineattractions surprising for a coaster that’s around 10-20 meters.
wood right again worlds of fu stop being cheap lord how ever it looks alright pretty much going straight two turns and aroung :) lol
FPS is terrible!
That's gonna be unrideable in about 4 years
Slow
Meh.
Nothing compares to the Velocicoaster these days
