- In this video I show you from beginning to end how to set up your Troy-Bilt TB110 push lawn mower so you can start cutting grass today! This is not a paid promotion, just a tutorial for all of you visual types out there. Super easy to set up, just make sure to read your operators manual before use. You have proved I am a visual learner the instruction manual was like reading Chinese to me. Thank you for taking the time to make this intuitive and well laid out video on assembly. If anyone else is reading this comment if you’re in a climate where you need to winterize add a little stabilizer to the gasoline and run the mower dry this will protect your carburetor from gumming up for years of trouble free usage.

You are correct. I learned and got done quicker in this 6min video than trying to figure out those picture directions.
Instruction manual was pretty bad.

Thanks ! Well done. I was satisfied that the push handle came out, but not as far as you pulled it and to the extent it needed to. Again GREAT JOB ! I set the wheels at about the mid position. Gave the rope a gentle but full pull, clamped down on the dead man lever and pulled the rope again firmly. Zaroooom!!! A PREFECT initial cutting on that thick wet grass. Beautiful !!!

Man this was a great video. Appreciate you sharing. I just bought one from Home Depot yesterday and it got delivered this morning. Just got done watching all your steps to assemble it properly and the only thing I’m having trouble with is the rope. It won’t extend so I can pull it and hook it behind the medal hook. Am I doing something wrong?
If I was guessing I’d say the handle wasn’t extended properly. Are you sure you got the handle pulled all the way out and the bolts in at the second position? Otherwise look underneath and see if there’s something physically obstructing the travel of the blade. If it isn’t something easy and simple like that then it’s something inside which is above my pay grade. Back to Home Depot would be my advice if that’s the case.
@@HM2SGT thanks for your valuable input it was much appreciated. I actually figured it out and found out what I was doing wrong. I didn’t have the handle fully extended so it was preventing me from using the blade 🤦🏽♂️. UA-cam is the best for fixing any issue. Love this lawnmower.
@@HM2SGT we have taken this model back 3 times it is assembled and wont start ... only thing we haven't done was tighten the zip tie are adjust the rope we are trouble shooting cause we are not going back to home depot
@@larkinshavers1168 I got one similar to this (Craftsman brand, but made by the same company, MDT, and sold at Lowe's.) The handle T-bolt on the right, where the handle goes into the deck, had nothing to screw into! No metal female part to thread into. Weird. I took it back and just got this Troy Bilt at Home Depot. We'll see how it goes when I assemble it.

what kind of oil do you put in there and how much oz? i only thought of mixing 1 oz of a Sta-Bil ethanol protector to 5 gals of gasoline before pouring into the gas tank,,, thank you for the answer!
