Avoided the sweep which is nice. Outstanding work from the pitching with the shutout. Chris Sale continues to be just amazing, arguably been our best pitcher this year, 7 scoreless today, just amazing. Bullpen too was great, pierce and iglesias. Even though the offense only scored 3 runs, ozuna had himself another homer, he continues to play at an mvp level. Now off to chicago, uncle charlie to pitch the opener. Let’s go braves #ForTheA

I love the braves! I just hope they win tonight and tomorrow and Thursday! I want to see my babies in the world series! I have a few favorite players for the braves! My favorites: Austin, Jared, Orlando, Michael and Ozzie ect! My family and I went to the game Friday night and we had a blast! I am going to find me and the players an ear plug so I can talk to the players! I really want to hangout with the players because I play softball and I want to get to know all of the players! I love you babies and goooooo braves! ❤💖
To think just a couple of years ago Ozuna was in danger of losing his career over domestic violence... I bet the braves are happy they kept him.

+ The Bullpen, after COLLASPING in Game 1, REBOUNDED in Game 2, with Pierce Johnson and Rasiel Iglesias FINISHING the Final 2 Innings, Allowing just 2 Hits while Striking Out 1! Iglesias gets his 11th Save of the Season, Pitching a PERFECT 9th while Recording 1 K!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, NO Runs, 7 Hits, NO Walks, 10 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed!
With the Pitching getting back into the Form, the Braves' Offense didn't need to do much to EARN the WIN!
+ The OZ-MAN got the Offense Started Early with an RBI Single in the 1st! That would be his ONLY Hit, as he finished 1-4. Albies holds onto a .275 Average with an OPS of .736!
+ HAVE A GAME, TRAVIS D'ARNAUD! 3-4 with Three Singles and an RBI! d'Arnaud stands in with a .274 Average with an OPS of .859!
+ THE BIG BEAR KEEPS ON SOARIN'! 2-3 with a Double in the 3rd and a SOLO SUPER MISSILE INTOTHEBULLPEN in the 5th! Ozuna Steps Up to a .327 Average with an OPS of 1.047 and 14 Home Runs on the Season!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Acuna, Olson, Duvall, Harris, and Short each Notched 1 Hit on the night, While Ozuna Provided the ONLY Walk in the Game for EITHER TEAM! Orlando Arcia was the ONLY Brave to go 0'fer, going 0-3.
+ DISATER F---ING AVERTED! While the Braves LOST this Series against the Padres, it took a HERCULEAN EFFORT from Chris Sale to PREVENT the SWEEP. Still, a FRUSTRATING 3-4 Homestand is enough to get me fuming about this team. Everything about this Team right now SCREAMS INCONSISTENCY. I know we're only Two Months into the Season, but the Braves feel like a Supercar with a BAD Engine or Ignition... You Turn the Ignition, you can hear the Engine Revving, TRYING to Start.... Yet it doesn't turn over. You SHOULD hear that Engine Roaring, and yet... it doesn't want to just Go! That's the Braves Right now... And it's FRUSTRATING to See.
+ SOME Good News though: While the Phillies were on BYE today, the Mets LOST to the Guardians, while the Marlins Walked Off the Brewers and the Nationals... OMG... They Ran the Twins OVER Tonight! This Puts the Braves 5 Games Behind the Phillies, while the Nationals, Mets, and Marlins remain 7, 7 1/2, and 13 1/2 Games Back Respectively.
WHAT'S NEXT?
With their time in Atlanta done and over with, the Padres will travel Northbound on I-75 to the Great American Ball Park, where the Cincinnati Reds will meet them for a 3-Game Set. Andrew Abbott will take the rubber for the Reds, who is coming off a DAZZLING Start against the Diamondbacks, where he Pitched 7 Innings of 1-Run, 4-Hit Ball in a No-Decision. Meanwhile, Joe Musgrove is expected to return from the 10-Day IL to Pitch for the Padres. His Last Start was on May 1st, where he allowed 2 Runs on 4 Hits in a No Decision against the same Reds Team he will face.
Can Musgrove and the Padres keep the Good Times rolling on the Road?
Or will the Reds and Abbott give the Friars a Proper Roadblock?

Tatis used to be my fav player. But he has fallen so far. The injuries, the steroid suspension, change from his natural position.... Every time I watch the Padres he strikes out at least once or twice. He is not even the best player on the team anymore.... And the padres paid him sooooo much money. This is why I don't agree with such long contracts. A lot can change so quickly for an athlete.
