Back in August 2021 I went through a terrible breakup.. 2 or 3 days later I went to the beach. I found peace.. I found a place where I could genuinely feel and not have to worry about crying even tho inside I was still hurt from what happened. I kept having these deep moments where I would just stare at the ocean or look up in the night sky while the waves crashed on the beach. One night I found the original version of this song.. the emotions this song made me feel is hard to explain. It feels like walking on the beach while the wind blows on ur face and the ocean ran over your feet. I realized life went on and things change. I realized I still had love for this person and no matter what I couldn't let go of them. After the trip I realized the emotions felt while thinking about this person were just.. bland. I missed them, I still wanted to be with them, but I also felt like they were happier without me. I couldn't cry anymore.. but this song made me think about everything. I wanna go back to the beach.. this song is an unexplainable emotion of nostalgia and regret. I love them, and will never forget them. 2022: Were together again and I now realize I love them more than I ever did. In order to be with "the one" you have to have ups and downs.
