Sorry to hear about your Mum passing. I didn't have a smear for 9 years. Had one and ended up having cinn3 and having lletz. The nurse held my hand and talked to me during it which helped. No pain after just a little discomfort. Hopefully they got it all.
Im seeing so many young women going through this...im 53 and have servere dyskaryosis and im going in tomorrow to have the cells removed and to see if the precancerous cells have progressed...u have eloquently explained this beautifully 😊
I'm glad you have been okay since I think over precaution has to be the best way to be even if it feels a little over reactive. I hope everything continues to be okay for you in the future. 💙
Did you find the numbing injections painful? I have the procedure tomorrow and I found the biopsies painful and I’m dreading how the injection might feel 😞
