Say what you want about Khan but the man is a warrior, he has taken some big shots in his career and came back fighting… sometimes not the best decision but a warriors mentality…
lol okay cotto I’ll grant you… kinda. He had an incredible base and strong legs and too much heart. Take a damn 8 count sometimes. But Tommy? No chance. Against the golden era elite, not as strong , sure. But it was fatigue vs Lennox and his lifestyle. He ate 225 punches from George. Idc what anyone says, on his bike or not, he was able to mount an effective game plan that got him a WIDE victory while being legitimately hit. For reference Moorer was hit 229 punches by George. If tommy or even moorer had a “glass” chin, they’d have be OBLITERATED by Foreman. And you act like a fighters heart overcomes literal consciousness haha. I dare anyone to say razor couldn’t punch. Did his heart help his brain from shutting off? Did it lighten the concussive nature of razors punches? Obviously not that’s silly.Heart doesn’t keep a fighter awake. But it can help put someone to sleep. When motivated and prepared for the fight, he had an okay chin. I like the cotto call on shaky. That’s true. Khan, meh. I mean it wasn’t bailing him out of anything. A bit chinny as the kids say. But his style didn’t help. I think you nailed it with Gamboa. Guy simply had no choice and had to wade into range. But calling Gamboa a glass chin is like saying Floyd Patterson has a glass chin haha it just doesn’t compute. Another great moment in that fight, is when haye lands a massive hook on him and enzos hair is just flopping about everywhere, think its a right hook, maybe an overhand right i cant remember. The explosiveness of Haye in his prime was just something else.
I feel like there will be a part 2 to this since you forgot many boxers. When I think of active boxers with shaky chins, I think of Anthony Joshua
Joshua chin isn't great but it's his side of his head which is glass. Ruiz was smart he kept hitting their and Joshua was all over the place. I've seen worse chins by active heavyweights then Joshua. Whyte's chin is a lot worse
Joshua chin isn’t as bad as others chins it’s his recovery which is really bad
@@ethanryan3367 Similar to Bruno when he's hurt he was done then same as AJ when he fought Ruiz. Dubios chin is shaky
@@Anderton-sy4jz that’s true, I feel both Bruno and AJ and dubois are glass cannons, nuclear power but terrible chins
@@ethanryan3367 No Joshua and Bruno have poor recovery's when they get hurt but subpar chins whilst Dubios has no chin a glass cannon
Amir Khan and Glass Chin in youtube thumbnails go hand-in-hand 😅
7:35 Tony vs kabib crazy thing that never happened 😭😭😭
There it is! Now I know what's in the menu tonight ;-)
Manny Pacquiao vs Edwin Valero is my pick for the fight that never happened.
That would have been an epic fight
Paul Williams vs Canelo and Dmitry Pirog vs GGG. These two fights were supposed to happen until two freak accidents occurred to Williams and Pirog. I don't know if a young Canelo could have gotten past Paul or if GGG could beat Pirog. Those two injuries shifted current boxing
It’s unfair to say Khan has a glass chin. Every shot that’s knocked him out has been a one punch that would KO most. He got hit plenty against Maidana and still won
I think Paris Island is in South Carolina , but I may be wrong. Idk
I'm stupid, I can't believe I said North Carolina. It's South Carolina.
@@OfficeHanchoBoxing I can’t believe I actually corrected you when you clearly just misspoke. Sorry dude
devin haney and ryan garcia are the new glass jaws in boxing🤣
Mma fight.- Ngannou vs Jones at HW,Dillashaw vs Mighty Mouse, Holloway vs Khabib Nurmagovedov, Covington vs Poirier, Romero vs Bisping
Say what you want about Khan but the man is a warrior, he has taken some big shots in his career and came back fighting… sometimes not the best decision but a warriors mentality…
Enzo is a punching bag poor soul got knocked out so badly and so many times.
lol okay cotto I’ll grant you… kinda.
If he had a glass chin he’d be dead based on how outsized and physically over matched he was
I grew up on Ricky Hatton & always wanted to see him & junior witter.
