I like how you said you don't collect countries. I respect that. We don't need to go far to find things to photography, as many did during the pandemic. Great interview! Thanks for sharing the thought about making money not being necessary, in fact it can add stress to something that makes us happy.

I am glad to see that your back publishing videos again!!! As always, nice interview with Art Wolfe. I have many of his books as well. They inspire me to shoot animals and landscapes.

Great interview!! Art Wolfe is one of my favorite photographers.
When I started photography, many years before, he, along with John Shaw and Gallen Rowell were my main "teachers", if I could say so. His book "The Living Wild" is the largest book in my collection.Thank you for interviewing him, he is a great inspiration!

You asked some really great questions in this interview - well done. I really like the convo at the end talking about winnowing down the images. He didn't specifically say so, but it sounds like the culling process he currently uses is a byproduct of being able to make so many images thanks to digital tech... I doubt he'd have ever thrown out a physical slide back when he was shooting film... but that's only my guess. I have no idea!

I thought that photo was in Namibia! Looks like a great book to get hold of. True what Art says, you need a purpose to get out of bed.

@@PhotographyTVcom No reason to apologize. You have to do what's best for you! (physically, mentally, financially, etc) If that takes you away from making videos, so be it.
