Great interview!! Art Wolfe is one of my favorite photographers. When I started photography, many years before, he, along with John Shaw and Gallen Rowell were my main "teachers", if I could say so. His book "The Living Wild" is the largest book in my collection.Thank you for interviewing him, he is a great inspiration!
You asked some really great questions in this interview - well done. I really like the convo at the end talking about winnowing down the images. He didn't specifically say so, but it sounds like the culling process he currently uses is a byproduct of being able to make so many images thanks to digital tech... I doubt he'd have ever thrown out a physical slide back when he was shooting film... but that's only my guess. I have no idea!
