    I have a question to the solution for E: we say that for small monsters we have big + 1 positions where they can be (relative to the big monsters), so there are these gaps before/between and after the big monsters. But what if a gap is bigger than the other gaps ? Isn't the probability for a small monster to be in this gap bigger than to be in the other gaps ? Why we treat every gap to be equally probable for the small monster to be in ? Huge thanks for answers

    • @___john
      @___john 4 роки тому +1

      It is his custom made type. Mint stands for modular Interger and it is used for handling problems where you need to calculate and print the solution in some modulo (1e9 + 7 for example).

    • @jithinpaulson
      @jithinpaulson 4 роки тому

      @@___john is it valid to upload codes containing those data types?

    • @___john
      @___john 4 роки тому +3

      @@jithinpaulson If you asking weather you are allowed to use custom data types during contest, then yes its really common for some kind of problems, for example modular problems, or segment trees or some other data structures that might take a long time to code the whole thing during contest. Now if you asking where you can find gennady's custom data types you can either check his submissions on CF or check his github, I think he has a public repository with most of his custom "libraries".

      we must take first element from array! so we will consider element from second to last!
      we can always control what element's we will take. it's always beneficial to take one third of consecutive one's! and whatever the situation is we can always take decision about which one's we will take.
      so ans will be one third of every consecutive one's + first element!
      i don't know how to prove this but this solution works! try hack my solution !
