Cool video!! I've been wanting to try fishing here in Alberta. I just bought a spinning setup cos I don't know how to fly fish.. Hopefully it's still good for catching trout. By the way, we have the same issues with gopro batteries.... We have a gopro 8 and we record in 4k 60 fps... Batteries last about 30mins so we carry about 4 and always have a charger handy.. Its crazy how quickly they drain! Will be following your channel!
Thank you for watching! I do plan on making a few videos on how to fly fish with spinning gear in the near future. My buddies wife uses Spinning gear and a fly. She can sometimes out fish us with fly rods.
@@fishonalberta that's cool! Ive been watching a few videos on how to fish for trout and have been getting different tips so not sure what to follow.. Lol I just bought a light 5'6" light rod and 2000 reel with a 6lb fluoro line... I'm beginning to think I should have gotten a stronger line.. Lol
@@MovingUpNorth Sorry it's been so long for a reply. Busy Life! I commonly use 6lb Tippet on my fly rod, and 6lb on my spinning gear. You should do just fine with your set up. I've fly fished with an expensive Shimano Rod & Reel, and I have also fly fished with a $40 combo from Canadian Tire.
THANK YOU for sharing
