Before anyone else comments, I didn't know this was a cover of an original Powerwolf song with Alissa on vocals instead of their lead singer, for obvious reasons as I stated at the beginning of my video.
You could not have known that this is a cover. And it is not even mentioned in the song´s title. I don´t think it is a problem to see this one first. :-) Have a nice weekend, Tauri!
I just waited for this reaction, I could resist to not check out this song yet. So my premiere is with you 😅... and I can say this is a super awesome song! 🤘
@@ChrisPage68 will check it out tomorrow after cycling with my girl next door! 🥰😍 Now it's Epica and Eluveitie time on my smart tv and soundbar + sub 😅
I love this one! I recommend powerwolf's song "we drink your blood" also Alissa does some cleans in her pervious band the agonist and with the metal allegiance which I recommend the metal allegiance cover of "we rock" totally awesome!
As you obviously know by now, this is a re-done version of the original...and I like this version WAY better. I love the way it turns the tables in regards to what's going on in the original video, and switches the lyrics to be from the demons' perspectives. And in regards to vocals, outfits and overall persona, Alissa is an absolute QUEEN.
Alissa is great here - the only member of the band present is the keyboardist Falk Maria Schlegel but the vocalist Attila Dorn is heard on the chorus. Check out the original here ua-cam.com/video/jhK2ev_O-pc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=NapalmRecords you will find it quite different but only Attila and Falk appear on camera. Enjoy!
Really cool tauri, the guy on keyboard is the keyboardist from powerwolf think he's the founder of the band, theres a Male vocalist in the band, a lot of there songs are very good. But this was a cool version she never disappoints in any videos cool reaction.
A thorough use of Reeds on the pipe organ... I like it. Powerwolf just doesn't strike me as a Flutes-n-Diapason kinda band. In her live performances, Alissa seems to have one of the least-strained deliveries of growls. You can just tell she's been at it for a few decades, and she wears her comfort zone well. And yeah, Powerwolf was shoved way back in the composition... not much that was band-unique... perhaps they've decided to keep their collaborators way up front .. with such a visual band, it'd be easy to be a distgraction. Anyway, I love hearing the pipe organ... WAAAAY bitd i did initial troubleshooting and voicing at Rodgers Organ Co, and there's nothing like 900 watts of power amp blasting out pipe organ voices in a little 15x15 room. ... It probably accounts for some of the brain damage, lol. Thanks for posting this review Tauri... great job !!
Actually, the instrumental side of the song is identical as far as I know and those vocals are the same or, at least, I can´t hear any substantial differences. The lead vocalist was replaced by Alissa. You should definitely watch the original music video as that is what this one makes fun of a bit, I guess.
Hello Tauri it must be me I have a very eclectic taste in music from some rock ACDC Queen classical music some opera Beatles ABBA Clanad etc but Im really struggling to enjoy this performance from this band. I come here to listen to your reactions as I think they're accurate and fair. This is purely my view alone.

That's totally okay, the world would be incredibly boring if we all liked the same things! 🤘🏻
