It's getting disturbing that so many young people think they can commit crimes as long as it is done in the name of protest
Big fat negative, they get brainwashed by their TikTok and assume they have this "right"?? They might want to study Dr. Martin Luther King.
Look through or history look at Samuel l. Jackson. It’s not new and in the majority of cases the young people have stood on the right side of history.
Fake protesters
'Attack on democratic rights' Uh no, it's not. You and others violated rules.
Criminals don’t use logic
They violated the LAW!
@@dragonflarefrog1424 College students aren't taught logic anymore...
Good thing we’re not a Democracy anyway
Are you aware of the right to assembly. Are you aware of vietnam. Are you aware of anything besides what's on your phone today no you're not you will feel the pain from this when they come knock down your door and nobody will look twice
2:03 CBS reporter sounds like an advocate for the protesters
Not really, it’s just hard not to when someone is clearly trying to manufacture a narrative that isn’t true.
@@milianojimenez235 ...in your misguided opinion. Are you also an October 7th atrocities denier? FYI, the mayor was basing his assertion on arrest data which showed that over half of those arrested had zero connection to the university as students, staff or alumni.
@@GordyThomas Misguided? We are talking about 75 years of death and oppression but sure keep talking about October 7th. And why are we talking about the people who attended the Student Lead Protest. The mayors narrative is intentionally misleading the public’s perception of the student protests.
FJB will pardon them and then transfer their college debt to the 65% trades workers, the ones that never went to college.

Thank you Mayor Adams.
More peaceful tours of the Capitol, I mean university.
Pro Palestinians here are pro-Hamas, not for anything that's humanitarian to speak for Gaza.
Unruly behaviour is a clear sign of weakness, evil and uncivilized behaviour. Shame. A very bad example to the whole world and to the next generation.
Who are these people
They' re pro-Hamas hiding beneath the so-called humanitarian protest against Israel's due reaponse to what happened in Iraq & Gaza
Ask Chuck Schumer who didnt answer calls. 😂
Awesome.
The chancellor is retiring this summer anyways. Not his fault this turned violent. His campus wide communications have been exactly what they should be from a leader. While protesters were peaceful, once they turned violent police needed to be brought in.
These people are guilty of a lot. Theyce been harassing, threatening, and verbally and physically abusing people. Trespassing etc.
They aren't just holding signs peacefully protesting. Get real.

Ungrateful rich kids
What, no squatter's rights?
Feds lock him up

Protests look fiery, but mostly peaceful to me.
Did the men and women that did protest cause a wrong, a harm, a trespass against a fellow man or woman;
How is the NYC mayor relevant to UCLA protests? Will Adams send the NYPD to LA to assist the LASD/LAPD?
Governing officials are, in emergency situations, constantly communicating. They don't do "mom and pop" stuff.
They must be charged, at least 6 months probation and 2 weeks public service to pick up trash, if they do it again, then charge them $5000 - 25,000, 3 -6 months in prison and 1 month of public service, I bet no one come out to protest again.
Good thing you aren’t a law maker.
Gavin will have to re-open some of the prisons he closed?

Ugh. Students. So insufferable. So mallable.
Ugh. People who don’t stand up against genocide. So corrupted. So monstrous.

Ahhhh yes, the election year summer of love begins
How dare they exercise their First Amendment rights!
The protesters don’t believe in free speech
Only theirs
And will use violence to enforce
Rioting, trespassing and destroying property isn’t included in the first amendment.
@@KR-te8kw they were provoked by pro israeli agitators, before that they were purely peaceful
Solution # 1 :
OHIO NATIONAL GUARD !
Anti genocide
Go live and protest in saudi arabia, or iran.
In America we have a right to protest, if you don't like that then maybe you should go live in Iran.
The anti-genocide protests were peaceful until the police showed up.
Rioting is peaceful? Trespassing? Destroying property? Considering some of these people are outsiders and not students makes it worse.
Ahhhh the last remnants of BLM
😂 liberals protesting liberals 😂
Bidens America
People are not stupid. They can see ethnic cleansing is being done in Gaza.
Throwing around the shock and awe term "genocide" around only waters it down from what it actually means. Much like racism. A quarter of the Israeli population is Arab, they're pretty bad at genocide if that's what they're doing.
No it’s not
How is ethnic cleansing being done?
@@barbarabell2396seriously? Google it. Israel has been killing Palestinians since 1948. Gaza is an open air prison. Palestinians are bombed from the land the air and the sea. There are no schools or universities left. Over 33,000 killed. 75 years of maniacal occupation and massacre after massacre. Think critically. Learn. Read. Educate yourself. It’s possible.

The First Amendment doesn't cover urban squatting, breaking and entering, and vandalism.
