- At Farm Sanctuary, farm animals are given the chance to live free from harm. Each has touched hearts and inspired change.
We’re grateful for every day, week, month, and year that these survivors have at Sanctuary. But it’s also hard to say goodbye to those we love-especially when they should have had more time.
Please join us in honoring the animals who passed away this year; you’ll find some of their photos and stories at FarmSanctuary.org. Find one that touches your heart and share it. Help others make the connection between the food on their plates and the beautiful lives behind them.

So much loss :( How do you all do it? I cannot handle when one of my fur babies crosses over after years of love. Let alone this many souls in one year.
My heart breaks for you all, and even though I did not know any of these angels personally, I feel the loss in the video and my eyes are blurred with tears.
Thank you for what you all do. The miracles that you perform on a daily is over and above what most folks can even fathom. And then the loss, the great immeasurable loss that you endure
all to allow them all time in paradise, you are true saints in my book. Thank you for all your do to help them all. No matter how long or short their time, they all knew, love, safety, acceptance, peace, and knowing they are cherished and wanted. You gave them all a chance to truly be themselves and enjoy life. Their sweet innocent souls will get to take that with them into eternity. You did that for them.. Thank you
100% agree from the bottom of my heart! Angels in human form, that’s what these guys are! I’m in tears right now, seeing all these precious beings and how much they were loved. Like you, I’m wondering how these guys can cope. Losing an animal is brutal, it rips you apart. I lost several fur babies over the past few years, every year another or even 2. Some of them were my “soul babies”. Still not over them, still crying any now and then. But we’ll meet again, that’s the only comfort I’ve got. Much love and respect to the Farm Sanctuary, keep it going guys there are so many more angels who need you ❤

Thank you for the video as these animals help elevate humanity when humans have failed them in the past. In my own personal life, I've learned more about "humanity" through animals than I have through people.

Why so many gone? Were they old and ill when you got them?
Young, old, abused, sick, neglected, injured.. medicine can only do so much, especially in regards to the cases sanctuaries take on.
