Aquarius is quiet a loner and a thinker. Yes we don't have as much emotions due to our thinking as it could cloud our judgement. We also wonder like our minds. We are often misunderstood and underrated as a zodiac sign because other zodiac signs see us far from what we actually are. We disappear after we get fed up with an individual or group of ppl.We hate stupidity and don't put up with it. We analyze everything and take it into consideration. My son, 9th grade testing on college level. Published Author, President of Student Council, School Valedictorian, tutors math. Interested in Forensic Science. Testing at a 98% nationally. Now, high school Ambassador and a Teachie Tech going to middle schools telling to the other children. He had the highest GPA over over his entire middle school 4.0. Honor roll, perfect attendance and the list goes on. He sings and writes music. When I was carrying him, I'd put ear phones on my stomach playing classical, gospel and r&b music. I read to him daily. My husband got him together in math.

As an Aquarius, I am always trying to be a better version of myself. I am constantly trying to heal past traumas, I try to stay away from toxic people and I am always overthinking everything, I get in my head a lot. In my case I fell in love with that one guy (he is aquarius too) when I was 16. I never really admitted that I did, but deep down I knew there was a special connection between us.
We both had, and still have, a hard but still so emotionally stimulating time together.
The fact that we are both aquarius, is frustrating and a blessing at the same time. Since our first conversation we connected instantly in such a deep way, it's beautiful. Just come out of a relationship with an Aquarius (I'm Aries) and it was definitley the most difficult relationship I've ever been in. Lack of communication, intimacy and her stubbornness drove me crazy in the end! But like you said, she was very very smart, very unique and family orientated. I feel like it would take a very special kind of person to be with an Aquarian. I did too when I was younger, but it didn't work because Aries is more self centered, it is not really a problem, he is fire and you are air element, supposed to be compatible, fire needs air element, we energize them and also us can get along well except Aries is me first, and Aquarius us selfless, humanitarian and like to be friends with other people. It makes Aries feel like we are not exclusive, it makes them insecure.
Try a Leo, opposite sign to us, we are both fixed sign and compliment each other. We had 53 years together, very challenging relationship, but we handled it together and accept each other's quirks. It will fulfill you, you met your match regardless of any circumstances, both never give up. He is the type of partner that wouldn't run at the first sign of trouble.
Aries is compatible with us but the one opposite to us is a better partner for life.

I'm an Aquarius and yes: I live my life in a constant (low to high) state of rage, thinking why does everyone follow the crowd?!!! It's my innate nature to just totally despise what's "popular" or "cool" now. I must, must challenge everything. And like a true Aquarian, I do it for a good cause-not to be mean. I'm actually quite nice, polite and easygoing nonetheless! HA.

As an Aquarius, I would say I’m misunderstood a lot of the time. I don’t care what anyone thinks of me. I won’t do something just for the sake of being like everyone else, and I tend to overthink things. I’m an introvert. I spend a lot of time listening to people and trying to get a read on them, but I’m careful about who I let get close to me. My best friend is a Virgo. I think it’s partly because I like the stability. I like my independence, but I guess everyone needs a little stability in their life.
I'm Aquarius and actually in law school ! She described us well.
Aquarians I know either wear bright colors or all Black, haven't met one that was a know it all but they do say I know a lot, they aren't ditsy just dreamers and Aqua males are flirty but the females are not, they aren't immature just playful but they're very mature. The rest is good.

I appreciate this critical analysis of the Aquarian, my sign is aquarius and I feel like what you said can be very true but at the same time certain behaviors can change. I don't agree with the idea that aquarians are immature and won't grow out of it, being immature is a learned behavior and I personally grew out of it very quickly because being immature doesn't resolve anything, and aquarians like to resolve things. Aquarians are different, were intellectuals, we enjoy conversation but I don't think its fair to say that were the least compatible sign so we keep our distance. In my eyes there are two types of aquarians or many sides to the aquarian, I personally love people, I love making people laugh, and I get a long with many different people. I don't keep my distance because thats not my personality. Again, I appreciate this video it was very interesting to hear your analysis, at the same time I felt like it put a kind of negative light on aquarians.
I appreciate your comment. You know when I watched the video I thought the same thing. It comes off a little too negative but I thought to myself I'm an Aquarius and I'm speaking my truth. This is an honest observation from my self and my peers. I stick to all that I said in the video because it's from personal experience and years of observing but I do admit it should be less of a negative light.

This video had me rotfl because this is so me. Especially the part about wanting our children to be smart, and teaching them big words innately. I remember my very young children knowing, understanding, and utilizing the word coccyx when their counterparts are saying the word tailbone, or clavicle instead of collarbone and having them correct other children .... lol. Many accurate points about my sign. I am extremely stubborn and I do "live in my head", for better or worse. At 3:57: this is so true. More than anything- I want to learn, and know and understand to the "n"th degree about subjects that pique my interest. It is almost an obsession for me to understand and learn. Analyzing things into the ground is a big pitfall for me.
I am very shy, and intoverted however. It takes me a long time to trust someone. I do consider my beloved family to be my best friends. I know my family has my back, no matter what. It can be hard at times to be a water bearer, IMO. And yes we DO have emotions, and very derp feelings. I have always found it almost impossible to free my feelings verbally to someone else. I can't get out of my brain enough to translate what I feel verbally. Poetry and art have always been the vehicles I've used to communicate deep emotions to others. Whether they understand that or not, I don't know. With my two adult sons, it's totally opposite. They get tired of me telling them I love them everytime we part after visits, I am sure. They are the best gifts I've received as an Aquarius enjoying a very blessed life. Aquarians ARE often drawn to helping others.
I have been a nurse in LTC (elderly), on 3rd shift for 25 years now. Yep, I'd agree that Aquarians are uniquely different, weird, odd, etc. Every sign has its quirks. All Aquarian women out there: Don't get involved with a Scorpio romantically. Trust me. They exist to control others utterly. Just. Don't. Do. It. We do cherish our independence !

Aquarius male and I analyse everything that happens to me. I'll go over a random conversation I had in the supermarket for instance like Columbo on a case, every little nuance and action to me has a purpose that I have to know.
It's not even a conscious thing either, my mind does it by itself and I'm often lost in my own head.
At my old job I clearly and absolutely the square peg in a round hole. Nobody could ever really figure me out and there was always a sense of not really fitting in. I dressed differently to them, liked different music to them and overall was just 'different'.
One day we had this big company meeting with everyone crammed into the meeting room. I was stood at the side listening to what was being said when out the corner of my eye I noticed one of the HR girls was sat staring dreamily at me, she was married so it wasn't anything romantic it was more of a 'I wish I could figure him out' look lol.
