I use a heat gun. Stickers come off in seconds. Also, I usually leave the bottom intact to be used like a bowl for sorting, instead of slicing it in half.
thebanjoman1963 my safety glasses are over by my table saw and other tools where they would be necessary. This was about as eye dangerous as using a toaster. But thanks for watching.
I was thinking "wait no eye pro?" And then I saw the channel name 😂 carry on brah
Wow, somebody really found a use for that tool.
Couldn't you do it with a box cutter?

Well I don't have a hair drier in my workshop. Heat guns are basically the same thing, except they get hotter.
heat gun for the stickers maybe? just a thought. thanks for the vid.
Great videos, but please, increase the resolution.
Best ragards
I would have cut it up first, then lay the sides down on a table (clamp to hold flat) and used a carbide scraper to remove the labels.
I use a razor knife to cut the buckets, allot faster, and quieter.
Half the video removing a handle and labels. I never got to the part about breaking down HDPE
Guess its better to hear than to see.. Where's your safety glasses?

Jigsaw maybe?
AingonAtelia I'm certain a jigsaw with the right blade would work. I just feel that the oscillating tool is safer.
Hey why bother squinting, either it's safe or not. I guess you squinted because it isn't safe so try wearing safety glasses
