I have a deep irrational fear of things underwater. So the brief underwater sections were uncomfortable enough for me. But add a giant, murderous snake, and it becomes my damn nightmare.
I went through the same thing, when I realized I had to dive while there was a giant snake in the water I just left the game, I'm still gathering the courage to try to get past this part.
@@LuizGustavo-mm9pq yep, I mustered the courage to come back and beat this level, I thought until I got into the cave part and realized you have to fight the snake, lmao might stop there.
@King_JappyJoe After a while without playing I managed to get through, even though I was distressed every second I spent in that damn temple, I practically faced that snake with my hands shaking, in the end I thanked God when I left there
I was stuck there for over a day. What worked for me. Reload an old save file (mine happened to be just before returning the golden hook. After that, I bought the breathing device and made my way up to the temple. When you get there, Gina starts some dialogue about the Yeak. Let this finish before diving in the water. Swim through the tunnel, do the cog puzzle, drive up to the pyramid and hear the dialogue about finding the entrance through one of the towers or something along those lines. When I first got out of the boat, I noticed Gina started the same discussion about the Yeak from before. (In previous play throughs, I noticed Indy would respond to these discussions in the water after defeating the snake but Gina was too far away so the discussion was one sided). On this "successful playthrough" I would dip in and out of the water before starting down the tunnel to finish this dialogue string. Once it was completed, I played through the mission just as before, and was now able to climb up the vine after defeating the snake. I know this wis long winded but I hope it helps someone else since it worked for me.
This part was not very obvious. I had to use this video a few times to get some direction. IT's a fun game but there are some sections that are far from intuitive. There are some times I spent an hour wandering about and can't find my way but then I try again another day and it seems obvious, lol.
That moment when an Indiana Jones game, of all things, becomes scarier than almost every Horror game you've ever played (including the recent Silent Hill 2 remake). Seriously, I HATE SNAKES!!!! I fully understand you, Indy.
Looking at that snake coming out of the water and entering terrifies me very much. I don't know how I'm going to go down to the water and it's waiting for me there 😞💔💔
The snake is still there for me after beating the game. Is it for anyone else? I’m terrified of seeing if it can still attack me. I just hate open water 😂
I Only Got Scared with Two Games on My Xbox Series x (I am New With The Horror Games soo if There Anything More Terrifying, Tell me) Alien Isolation and Now in This Indiana Jones and The Great Circle Game (the Difference is that The Xenomorph I Know it’s Fictional but The Anaconda Snake… it’s Real and Easily scared me More).
Went into this game thinking alright the spider will give me the creeps but I’m not really afraid of snakes like Indy and then BOOM giant mythical creature of a fucking anaconda chases me for a whole quest
I think they could’ve done better for this game I mean don’t get me wrong it’s a good game but I think they should’ve not added the giant guy in the beginning of the game that didn’t make any sense at all and also they added a giant snake as well like wth lol and plus the NPCs look like they are little slow on moving and when you shoot them they sometimes don’t die or when you punch them they start to dodge out of nowhere and their isn’t really that much dialogue the game doesn’t really help you it wants you to figure it out and I understand that this an adventure game but cmon freaking game studio you guys could’ve done a little bit more better but oh well I like the game it’s ok
This game is fuckin stupid... They played on everyone's nostalgia and manipulated everyone into playing.. I knew this game was going to be shit. Bethesda really needs to focus on Elder Scrolls and fallout (Not Fallout 76)
@joshuadebusk1858 I watched the movies over and over... If you somehow combined all 3 movies and then changed the characters just a little you got the great circle
The snake was terrifying
i've gone back and 100%ed every other region in the game because I'm terrified of going in to fight that thing
@@CheeseSteakJimwait…you gotta fight that fucking thing?
I’m shitting myself rn as I play this part

Super Mario on Nintendo 64 with that water map all over again 😂 The red snake there is just as terrible

Anyone that can't get on the white vine just run at it no jump

A pretty good map that tells you where to go, but the game often gives no indication of what to do when you get there like this mission!
Tysm with this
:D
Helped, thx 👍
How did you jump onto the white vine at 17:00
You just jump straight into it
Can't grab same vine. 17:00
Thanks very helpful 😁👍🏻
Literally he won’t grab the vinr
Same for me... I'd just uninstall and actually dl it again to see if it change.

That's why you can choose if u want it to be hard or easy. If u choose easy it is, the game helps you and other things
Thanks
Easily the worst part of the game. So badly designed...
❤
Couldn’t figure out where to throw trident
I HATE whoever at Bethesda added that boss I’m terrified of snakes
The part @11:00 mark felt so clunky.
I don’t get to use my whip somehow even though it is on Indiana’s hip at the part where you have to climb up
Yes, me too. Have you found a way around this?
@UncleNathan29pls lmk if u find out😭
