Overall, the dofus is taking a turn for a more cartoony style, which I don't personlly like. They promised a lot of reworks on the character design so hopefully we will get those eventually (i.e. not empty promises). It would be interesting to see what Unity will look like at the end of next year - that should be when we will really see if they will actually meet the community expectations (because realistically they have a lot of work more to do than that requires time) or they will just go with the bare minimum.
Well, I didnt rate spell animations on this one ofc. Just the character looks and personally I think they're quite good. Never liked the 2.0 characters looks.
My few thoughts after watching this rank is: - Only Class which deserves to be in D tier is Female Sram - Xelor is S tier for me (looks very awesome with the hat) - Sacrier for me looks really good its also is S tier - I don't understand the hate for female Eni its looks really fine Overall sometimes I felt like you looking for a problem with every class where there are fine. For me a lot of classes are decent and of course some need adjustment.
Female cra D tier aswell right? Also with xel you dont see the hat the moment you use ingame equips/cosmetics. Eni lost all cuteness they had in 2.0 sadly.
personally i love how the ougi looks and i think they deserved S tier :P only thing they are missing from 2.0 is their belt buckle and i really hope that gets added back.
As a longtime eca player, I hate the way the new face looks. Reminds me of an alien head, its way too big on the top side compared to the lower half of the head. The spells do look very good tho
Never thought I'd say this, but... I (pretty much) agree with Eslix. There are a lot of classes where only one or two faces are good, which makes it tough to judge. I would rate female Iop/Osa a little lower, and Eni/Cra higher (to me they look fine). Still a long way to go with the designs, but there have been some real improvements recently, so I'm a little hopeful. Getting way more face options would definitely help.
I see the detail decreasing as an art direction choice. As I withdrew the flash version since august, I got used to the unity design in such point, that I perceive the characters in flash too goofy and overloaded with such details. In my opinion, the multiple points of improvement on design should mostly not turn over to the 2.0 version, it's an opportunity the bring up the good design ideas of other ankama games to dofus, or going even further on innovation. Foggernaut, Xelor and Forgelance were awful on 2.0 version and look great now. Panda, Eca, Eni (male) and Iop (female) deserve improvements. All the remaining classes are looking better in general.
The one thing I dislike about how the Eliotrope looks, is the second when you put on a hat. The Elio hat, which is what makes the Elio, the Elio, complete disappears. One of the things I really liked about the class. Now it's gone. I hope they add a toggle to add or remove it. Or just leave it on by default.
Agreed on some points, but disagreeing more haha. Overall I don't like most of the male ones. Their heads still are too big or face pointy.Panda is tolerable, eca is awful. If they stay this way I'm going to make all female team. At least they look cute.
Oh, Netherlands player of Dofus, so nice! Greetings from Brazil

As a xelor player I definitely agree with you on this one
STEAAAMER ON S??? outrage, and the spell animaitons also got me raging. I even did a video on my channel about it
agree, the animations look too much "futuristic", when it should be steam-punk style

Nice top my brother. The sacri is tier S in my ❤
I am happy for you that you like it!

Yea, youre right on the faces. Only 2 or 3 look goood and all others shit. Makes rating them so hard!

Yeah thats fair! Maybe I should downgrade them purely for this.
I tried making a tier list, but everything ended up in D tier
Loooooooool
Why are short classes not short anymore. 😢
Cuz ankama...... :(
Panda A, kekw
I say that as a Panda main :(

Female team has always been better than male team anyways.
I can't agree with you, I tried to understand but I can't x)
The old sacrier and ougi was better :(
*skips the video*
Appreciate the honesty! Did you at least hit the like button tho? :P
