I seen people using gelatin to make glitter now if you take Gold Leaf that's edible and mix it in with the gelatin in a blender with overproof vodka and then blend put it on some thin plastic to dry and then blend it again and a grinder to make a gold dust I think that might work perfectly. And to rehydrate it just used overproof vodka to create your edible gold paint
You may taste it a little bit! You can use vodka as well if you want, and that you shouldn't be able to taste! It's funny though, people sometimes will comment at how good it tastes :) I think the little tiny lemon is a little refreshing!
Mmm I'm not sure it'll leave the same finish. It may leave more of a taste and also a stickiness. The goal is to get the purest high content alcohol so that it essentially just evaporates and leaves nothing behind.
Do you have any edible gold or silver luster dust recommendations for me to try out in my edible gold paint haul/review video? If so, let me know in the comments! ✨
This is not how to make gold or silver edible paint this is gold and silver either edible or non edible paint that's already made you need to change your title to add lemon juice to already made powder
That was helpful to see! So simple but it adds so much! I’m looking forward to the big haul video :)
Me too! Thanks for watching!
BEAUTIFUL COLOR
Thank you!!
The first color is so pretty!
It's sooo nice! 😃 Course the most metallic ones are always only for decoration :(
Wow! Big difference there. Good luck in the quest for an officially edible option that looks as good as that gold! Can’t wait to see that vid
Yeah, for real big difference! I hope I can find a good replacement!!!
Ooh I can’t wait to see what you find out!
me too! can't wait to show everyone all the fun kinds i bought! hope i find a good one!! :D
Light gold is mixed with silver. So mix edible gold with edible silver to make it lighter gold.
I agree those non-edible ones are so much prettier!!
I know!! Cross your fingers I find a good EDIBLE replacement!

That's an interesting idea! I have never heard of it before, maybe I will give it a try, thanks!

Hi. Can I paint silver over a buttercream covered cake?
Yes definitely! Just make sure the cake is chilled so the buttercream holds its shape! :)
Can you taste the lemon extract once it’s dried? I want to try this with chocolate bars 😁

Please how did you make the gold dust itself
I don’t make it, just buy it! Check out the description box for a link. Also this video may help you: ua-cam.com/video/OyWfiyqKQX8/v-deo.html
i have always had trouble with gold paint
What part gives you trouble?
Okay this might be the most ridiculous question... but if you were wanting yellow, and something edible, do you think you could use Tumeric powder??
Ohh interesting idea! Probably...but ah the taste!? 🤪
Can I use rum?
