Hey I really enjoyed these last two videos! I have always loved riven and this latest version looks amazing. Really appreciate the time you're taking to walk through it with all the new puzzles! Great job!
3:05:38 yeah agreed these facial animations are reminded me so much of Hellblade,and the character faces actually looks really good too and quite realistic at certain angles, especially with the dramatic and secondary reflective lighting cast on them. Overall, a beautiful remake! 😊
I actually watched someone else play this and you know that part where you knock 5 times on one of the huts in the village in the original? It’s actually in this game but in a different spot, just thought I’d let you know lol 👍
The problem I have with this game is that it looks too linear with all the linear cave paths and such.Even when in the open world it still coems off as narrow lanes/paths so ends up being nothing more than a dungeon crawler pretending to be open world.
i kinda disagree, there are many different orders you can do things in. maybe only a few fewer than the OG, but you can still do all the major game points in any order
also i don't think riven claims to be an open world. it's a puzzle/adventure game, it can be as linear as it wants. it's just trying to tell a story, it's not trying to be skyrim or something haha

How you figured out the numbers that go with the symbols, (the new ones) I have no clue. I can finish the game now. Great job figuring it out.
