They missed a golden opportunity by not having him sing "Where My Heart Will Take Me". The man can definitely sing. All the episodes of Quantum Leap are proof enough of that fact. Him singing the ST: Enterprise theme should have been a no brainer
Now I want to hear him singing it period, but I can't find any recordings of him singing it! Someone had to have asked him to sing it at a con or something
He has a much better voice then most gave him credit for.good song for the series.
This song seems to be Bakula's own personal anthem. It was a backdrop for Quantum Leap (note the references in the episode where he's cast as Don Quixote), it made it's way into Enterprise and I suspect it will eventually show up up in CSI:New Orleans since the plot has him striving for justice outside the box, aka "tilting at windmills.". The cliff hanger last season left him dying and bleeding on the floor. What a perfect place for the song to show up again.
Great idea; well done.I am a Trek fan too... The song is most appropriate...!
Very nice touch with the seeking of the star in the song with a starship flying by on screen.
It’s been some time since I’ve seen something as beautiful as this video.
LOVE #THIS! Thank you. I'm a lifelong Scott Bakula fan, and it's nice to have this without the rest of the medley.
This is BEAUTIFUL! ! our problem as a country is kids have no one to look up to anymore
Thank you, for this, I have loved Scott Bakula since Quantum Leap and this is him at his best and sums up both Captain Archer and also how I live my life. I am actually in tears now.
I missed "QL" somehow. I think I'll have to go back and watch it. Do you like him as Dwayne Pride in " NCIS:New Orleans"? I do.
ENTERPRISE- Was the best Startrek.
Love it and love him! Thank you!
So beautiful. *sniff*
Scott Bakula was the best Star Trek Captain.
Thank you so much! I haven't watched Enterprise yet. I know I'm not a great Trekkie am I. Scott Bakula has been one of my favorite actor / singers for a long time. over 30 years. I just started watching NCIS New Orleans and my love for him came back. Thank you so much for putting this together. And you can tell that it is not auto-tune because if you listen to the very last note he goes a little bit flat. Just saying that Scott Bakula was not put on Auto-Tune. Thank you again.
Jenny Fleming I'm not much of a trekkie either, but I've watched every episode of Enterprise just for Scott Bakula. 😁👍
I loved this :) it really cheered me up
"Catch A Falling Star" is the name of the QL episode which featured that great song.
I might start watching"QL" based on this. Not that I didn't like "QL"-it was ok-but I liked other shows better. Maybe, I'll get to liking "QL" too-and soon as I can find it.
Awesome
Very fitting! Nicely done!
Love it!
Years ago I saw Leonard Nimoy perform Man of La Mancha with a touring company. He had a decent voice as well.
Thank God they didn't have William Shatner sing it! Even Deforest Kelley commented once on a You Tube video," He can't Sing." De could sing and so could Jimmy Doohan. I saw Leonard Nimoy in "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Vincent". Sang very well in the former and acted very well in my favourite artist's play.
This would have made a wonderful theme for Enterprise.
Great idea!
good job
T'Pol Looks like she wants to take off running somewhere. Archer knew she hated crowds (noise, tension, closeness of others) so he didn't make her attend the last one. Also, it turns out that in the last speech, He's given a note to give to her-from Trip-but the silly "TNG" holoprogramme bit into the real story instead.
nice
Where can I download this beautiful song?
drive.google.com/open?id=1hRTrOmck0Vo7o-_ns4ANYNcwxdDLhkxz There should be a download link near the top right corner.
not a bad idea
To be given a gift of the talent and dedication of training to reach the stellar celebrations....wow, thank-you Mr. Bakula.....
