- Das Video beschreibt einen Segeltörn im ionischen Meer mit der voll elektrischen Segelkatamaran HopYacht 30. Die Länge des Katamaran ist 9,35 m, die Breite ist 1,44 m, der Tiefgang ist 70 cm, der Katamaran verfügt über 2 E-Propulsion 6 kW Motoren und 28,6 kWh Batteriekapazität.

@@courcheval that’s always a option if you want to sail and test it, we could arrange something in 2025. I planed a longer trip in 2025 but as we want to sail also with the bigger family with 8 persons, I decided to sail on another boat during that time. Maybe we can discuss that and/or medium term plans via mail (sebastian.kummer@wu.ac.at) or social media.

Thank you very much, i will try to make also an english Version, the trip was really impressive. Most people - also a bit me - have the fear, that the batteries only last for short milage , but if you reduce the speed the milage goes up and often we tried to motor net poditive or as seen in the video only slightly negative. There we used 1.200 watt (600 watt esch Motor which gives something like 3,5-4 knots of speed but due to 900 Watt in this case we only used 300 watt netto which means you can go much longer.

Hallo Sebastian, hast Du die Hopyacht gekauft oder gechartert. Diese Compact-Cat Version hat mir seit Jahren vorgeschwebt. Wohnen & Schlafen über der Wasserlinie, da liegt ein Vorteil. Seid Ihr noch in Griechenland?
@@GerhardR-i2t ursprünglich war ein Times Sharing Modell angedacht, dass sie ließ sich nicht realisieren. Die Werft hat mir Hop angeboten und da ich das Konzept super finde habe ich Sie im April 24 gekauft und in die EU eingeführt (Mwst bezahlt). Leider gab es ein Paar Probleme deswegen liegt das Boot noch in Preveza.
