I struggled with the bulb syringe until I discovered the nasal aspirator. Our Nose Frida has been a lifesaver!!! It's so effective. Thank you for the video
How many babies will stay calm and still when saline solution is dropped into their nose and when their nose is suctioned? For me, thus video definitely stray too far from reality.
Also, how do I know if everything is out? How long should the suction be? In my experience, the Nose Frida only managed to suction out a tiny bit out while baby cries like crazy. I persisted a few minutes and have to give up, leaving majority of the mucus still in.
Hey there! Great question! Each baby is different, so some will definitely protest more than others. Suctioning a baby's nose will not be able to get all the mucus out, but our goal is to get some out to help baby breathe just a little better!
My two month old doesn't mind the saline, it's the bulb he hated. I started using a smaller and softer one that came in an earwax removal kit (unused) and he doesn't fight that one as much as the one from the hospital.
Thank u, but i find it difficult to pull stuff out of the nose unless i hold a side of the nostril and create a bit of vaccum. And my girl is 9 months old and hates it when i spray the saline.
It's like when you're trying to look up a recipe. And you gotta read this whole story first before you get to the party came here for so you got to read all this stuff at literally nobody cares about.

How about for toddlers who don’t let you suction their nose?

@@ivoryandgold88 same. My baby was throwing a fit when I tried
So true! A demonstration with a fussy baby would be so much more helpful
I accidentally pushed air in through bulb syringe in my 3 montha old. Is it dangerous?
