We used to run around Elementary School singing our own version of the Winston jingle LOL it went "Winston tastes bad like the one I just had! No filter no flavor just a rotten piece toilet paper !" LOL
If they were ever to be re-aired, then yes, they would need to have been edited out, which is what the case was when they aired some of them on GSN. That's why in this case, there's a Surgeon General warning at the bottom of the screen.
What a great bunch these people were

Great memories, great TV ..
Your stage manager: Joe Papp. Famed for Shakespeare in Central Park!
Very cool! And interesting to see the old commercials; I assume those had to be cut from airing due to the law effective 1971?

Those commercials back then were great .. love old commercials.
This would have been the 6/20/56 show.
Smoking killed Garry Moore. Glad cigarette commercials are eliminated.
Didn't Garry Moore die of lung cancer?
Emphysema. And Henry Morgan and Bill Cullen, lung cancer. All were smokers, sadly. I love all these guys and I wish they were still here.
@@etrisb --- To be fair, if they were "still here" today then they would all be older than 100, lmao.
@@virg0_lem0nade True, but I do wish they had lived longer than they did.
@@etrisb -- Agreed, they were all legends ❤️
