Work well done, I even like the way you doubled the stock welds!

This hoop I made. Took some dom steel tubing to muffler shop an had them bend it for me. U can get similar drive shaft loop from jegs or summit.

Big Mo MonteCarlo How much did it cost you to take it to the muffler shop I’m not really liking all the ones on jegs i don’t really want the bottom piece on their

What u mean bottom piece? It's my step brothers shop so it didnt cost me anything, but he wouldn't charge but paybe 20 or 40 bucks jus to bend ur pipe. But depends on shop u go to, jus have to call around. Also I cut a small piece an got the curve I needed/wanted before I had the hole stick bent so I could get it as tight as possible to the body

Also used the small piece as a guide for the shop to bend the stick of tubing how u want it. An it may take a couple trips to get it right

Did you test fit frame before powder coating?

    • @mcbluecollarguy2382

87national no I didnt. Before I started cutting into frame or anything, before I even took body off frame I put in the driveshaft hump bar in front of reverend an also the structure bar behind reverend. When I put frame an body together it lined up good

mc79 big mo came out nice... I notice you did the notch in sections. Have not seen someone do it that way, any issues? I thought it had to be a 1 piece?? I ask because I’m in the middle of doing the same.

87national I didnt buy a notch kit, I jus got some steel to do it all my self cuz ot was cheaper an I'd have plenty of left over steel. Doing it in sections I thing was easier tho i never done a notch before. If u messed up on a piece then it's not one hole solid piece u jacked up. Was easier to fit the pieces better specially towards rear of tire cuz frame curves back in. Only thing is after it was all welded in, had more grinding to do.
