@@guitarherorobloxgod I dont remember exactly, just that Gamo uploaded his FC very shortly after mine. Cant tell you if he did it on the exact same day though.
@@TobeGH3 that's very interesting. You did get the first ever FC though, correct? I believe I read in Gamo's comment section (this is just off the top of my head) that he FCed and thought for sure it was first ever, but then soon figured out you had FCed it.
I loves this actually. It helps explain things I didn’t know or didn’t want to ask, like what a castle is. One thing I think would help is, when explaining some of the more complicated sections, to show with your guitar what you’re also explaining verbally.
While some parts like explaining the method for Supernova, are a bit more complex and kinda hard to follow with how fast you said it, I genuinely found this video both helpful and entertaining to watch. I think visuals like how you broke down slide tapping on Mysterious Passage are definitely a big strong suit in this video and most likely the series. Definitely try keeping that. I think this is a GREAT start to both a useful and memorable series that both veterans and new comers to GH like rhythm games can follow. Absolutely dig Sin's editing. Great job both of you!
I remember when Tobi uploaded that and then Gamo got it immediately after, lol. Tobi's Universes FC and 2012 We Survived Montage are still some of my favourite GH videos.
For me, the beginning of the modern era was Gamos first FC of Dark Caves of LoLno. People were barely doing the sections on their own and then Gamo comes in and 1 bangs the whole song.
I remember watching gamo's Speed Kills FC when it was uploaded and commenting on how buttery smooth his execution was, and still is to this day. A lot of milestones has been done and I'm looking forward to this series.
This is such an amazing analysis video and I highly recommend doing a collaboration with Etienne analyzing other top player's top accomplishments. Also don't feel too pressured with the last h. I know so many people are giving you shit not FC'ing that song yet. It'll come when it comes. Can't wait for future videos!
What's crazy about this FC is that Gamo did it the exact same day. So first and 2nd ever only happened probably a few runs apart! Also, I should have taken your advice about the comment section. I forgot that's how things used to be
I hope you continue these FC analysis videos. These are my favorite videos of yours. I love that you will include videos from GH2, GH3, and Rock Band. People neglect the hell out of those games.
Ooooooo. I really like this! Tobe was so fun to watch because of how clean he was! Minimal ghosting, crazy! Also want to mention how incredibly helpful this video is.
I love watching videos like these (big fan of Etienne's channel too) so I hope you produce more. It's about Tobe too who was pretty much my main inspriration for getting into rhythm games, so this vid is beyond hype for me
This is what you could be doing instead of focusing all your efforts on FCs! This, to me, was the most entertaining video you’ve uploaded in quite a while. The explanations were thorough, I was intrigued at every pattern, and it’s genuinely given me some insight as to how I could play these patterns. Very, VERY good video. The editing was also very pleasing and well put together. Kudos to the both of you, this was a very fucking good upload~
I do enjoy watching your tutorial videos and I learn a lot. Doing a slowed down interpretation like at 5:11 REALLY helps out. Doing those more in videos would be awesome. Keep up the awesome work! :D
I have always been a big fan of tobi's smooth technical ability, same with gamo, megapenga and some lesser-known players such as ghnoob. I've always been a proponent of technique over speed and spam but that's just the content and way of playing that I enjoy.
Thanks for this, it is really useful and helped me figure out a lot of stuff. Like other people said, if you talked a little bit more slowly when explaining more complicated sections or visually explained it, i think it would be even better. Great idea for a series, i can see some new top players suddenly arising with this sort of in depth explanations on how this methods work based on each players skillset
2:00, same thing with practicing songs on something like a piano. You have the rhythm and everything for one section down but transitioning from that to the next section you’re still fuzzy on causes you to mess up . So you restart repeatedly and after a while you start messing up on the first section you were able to play easily because you start exhausting your muscles, brain, and muscle memory as a whole. That’s assuming you don’t take breaks which happens a lot.
More videos like this please, can I suggest you analyse GuitarHeroPhenoms FC of The wrath of mr Greg Murphy, his methods to FC that are.....interesting
Phenomenal idea for a series! Love it. Will you ever talk about earlier than this? I got into GH back when GH2 was out, and that’ll always be my favorite period.
Also I know people don't do this often anymore, but this is a great video to show the "go play real guitar" people, since it shows that guitar hero at it's highest form of play has just about nothing to do with playing an instrument and is all about complex button patterns and surpassing impossible barriers
Great video and look forward to more of this sort of content. I understand why using zigs in patterns involving ascending and descending trips would be useful but why does doing zigs make big bang easier than tobis method?
5:34 "the players were treating this section as a "6 SET DISJOINTED TRIPLET TRILL TAPPING SEQUENCE" bruh.. how far am i behind on guitar hero lmfao..that sounds like rocket scienence tongue twisting nonsense X_X
that's easier to understand if ya break it down: 6-set refers to 6-motions per cycle, in this case, 534231534231 is one cycle, hit like (5) 34 (23) 5 (34) 23 or (53) 42 (3) 53 (42) 3 - disjointed means that the first motion of each individual tap isn't in succession, it's on different frets, not the same one. triple trill means a set of 3 trills, which mentally has to be alternated into a 6-set for consistency sake. and tapping sequence just refers to a pattern that needs to be tapped :)
@@Frif even reading it sounds like alot lmfao i think it'd be a dope video idea to actually thoroughly break that stuff down for players like me, who arent bad at the game but literally arent on your level =P

because its more difficult to force your fingers to go down one at a time than to slam your fingers against the guitar

What is the difference between fretting and tapping?
So is it normally ideal to just do zigs for anything? I don't understand. I feel like it would be harder to do that.
yeah. doing zigs i can fc one's fast solo a at 155%. with trips i can get it at 140%
hey frosted, is it a good idea to use a wiimot in a wii guitar? cause its all i got right now. like whats the difference beetween raphnet snf wiimote?
the raphnet works much faster, and you still need an adapter for the wiimote anyway, along with the batteries for the 'mote itself.
