this kinda reminds me of that episode of My Life As A Teenage Robot where the principle found out about Jenny's physical age of 5 years old but didn't know about the fact that she was programmed as a 15 year old and so he sends her to kindergarten and she gets along with a lot of the kids

Honestly I'd be fine if this was more of a background/side plot thing - if and I do mean if Freddy became a proper character.
